The After Life App has great potential to compete with the e.docxmattinsonjanel
The After Life App has great potential to compete with the existing clubbing software in the market. However, the app design work was conducted using insights collected from existing bibliographies as well as intensive market study. Most of the approaches used in this study enabled the designers to come with features that would capture Brighton students’ attention (Curtis, Lahiri and Brown, 2015). The major challenge that makes Android apps and Apple apps not to perform well in the current technology market is inadequate market research and reduced ability to address users’ needs.
Potential Frameworks, Techniques, and Theories
The positive impacts of the software can be measured using the general opinion given by users and its compatibility with internet connected devices. In this consideration, the PESTEL analysis was utilized at large to help the designers to install features that will stimulate positive usage of this application. This approach played a crucial role in guiding developers on how to create functions that would satisfy government and social needs (Joorabchi, Mesbah, and Kruchten, 2013). More importantly, the principle supported technological diversity where the app was engineered in such a way that it became flexible and easier to operate.
After launching a trial of this application, we witnessed a burgeoning development in user’s ability to control their clubbing ticketing behaviours. In this consideration, the app has been able to promote positive behaviour in the society and comply with the government rules and regulations. The goal of this app was to support operators in locating clubs of their choice at an affordable price (Song and Oh, 2016). Indeed, this app improves users’ ability to make sound clubbing decisions; thus, supporting ecological and legal considerations of this app.
The underlying hypothesis in the software development; the After Life App largely stimulates mental and physical impact on customers’ lives. Mainly, using this software client’s lifestyle is changed where they can only visit clubs which the app indicates (Pakroo, 2016). To a greater extent, when designing this App, the developers considered the software ability to enable long-lasting positive behaviours. The software plays a significant role in promoting user’s capability to locate secure clubbing sites which also offers high-quality services.
The other approach used in the design and development of this software is Tuckman principles. This model of software development ensured that the After Life software is beautiful to operate and it is entrenched on reminding customers about their best clubbing joints. In the quest to influence clients’ daily life, the team of developers remained focused since they had undergone Tuckman first and second stages, forming and storming where compatible individuals were selected. Notably, this approach argues that software developers need to solve or norm their differences to be able to come up with an app ...

Intro to ESG Standards and Regulations: An Introduction to Technologically Ac...John C. Havens
This provides an introduction to leading ESG / Sustainability oriented standards as of August, 2023. The goal of the presentation is to show that "Double Materiality" and "Strong Sustainability" are critical to achieve Net Positive / Nature Positive goals for engineers, policy makers, and society at large.
Please note - while I prepared this in my role as Sustainability Practice Lead for the IEEE Standards Association, these ideas are my own and don't necessarily reflect those of my employer.
Reskilling in the age of the algorithm is a mythed opportunity where single-bottom line mandates rule the land. All jobs will be replaced via automation where organizations are continuously pressured to cut costs and increase exponential growth as their top KPIs. But when society's metrics for success move Beyond GDP to include caregiving, the teachers and other professionals currently not counted will get the salaries and support they deserve while shifting the goals for learning in the AI era from productivity to purpose.

The prostate is an exocrine gland of the male mammalian reproductive system
It is a walnut-sized gland that forms part of the male reproductive system and is located in front of the rectum and just below the urinary bladder
Function is to store and secrete a clear, slightly alkaline fluid that constitutes 10-30% of the volume of the seminal fluid that along with the spermatozoa, constitutes semen
A healthy human prostate measures (4cm-vertical, by 3cm-horizontal, 2cm ant-post ).
It surrounds the urethra just below the urinary bladder. It has anterior, median, posterior and two lateral lobes
It’s work is regulated by androgens which are responsible for male sex characteristics
Generalised disease of the prostate due to hormonal derangement which leads to non malignant enlargement of the gland (increase in the number of epithelial cells and stromal tissue)to cause compression of the urethra leading to symptoms (LUTS

Lung Cancer: Artificial Intelligence, Synergetics, Complex System Analysis, S...Oleg Kshivets
RESULTS: Overall life span (LS) was 2252.1±1742.5 days and cumulative 5-year survival (5YS) reached 73.2%, 10 years – 64.8%, 20 years – 42.5%. 513 LCP lived more than 5 years (LS=3124.6±1525.6 days), 148 LCP – more than 10 years (LS=5054.4±1504.1 days).199 LCP died because of LC (LS=562.7±374.5 days). 5YS of LCP after bi/lobectomies was significantly superior in comparison with LCP after pneumonectomies (78.1% vs.63.7%, P=0.00001 by log-rank test). AT significantly improved 5YS (66.3% vs. 34.8%) (P=0.00000 by log-rank test) only for LCP with N1-2. Cox modeling displayed that 5YS of LCP significantly depended on: phase transition (PT) early-invasive LC in terms of synergetics, PT N0—N12, cell ratio factors (ratio between cancer cells- CC and blood cells subpopulations), G1-3, histology, glucose, AT, blood cell circuit, prothrombin index, heparin tolerance, recalcification time (P=0.000-0.038). Neural networks, genetic algorithm selection and bootstrap simulation revealed relationships between 5YS and PT early-invasive LC (rank=1), PT N0—N12 (rank=2), thrombocytes/CC (3), erythrocytes/CC (4), eosinophils/CC (5), healthy cells/CC (6), lymphocytes/CC (7), segmented neutrophils/CC (8), stick neutrophils/CC (9), monocytes/CC (10); leucocytes/CC (11). Correct prediction of 5YS was 100% by neural networks computing (area under ROC curve=1.0; error=0.0).
CONCLUSIONS: 5YS of LCP after radical procedures significantly depended on: 1) PT early-invasive cancer; 2) PT N0--N12; 3) cell ratio factors; 4) blood cell circuit; 5) biochemical factors; 6) hemostasis system; 7) AT; 8) LC characteristics; 9) LC cell dynamics; 10) surgery type: lobectomy/pneumonectomy; 11) anthropometric data. Optimal diagnosis and treatment strategies for LC are: 1) screening and early detection of LC; 2) availability of experienced thoracic surgeons because of complexity of radical procedures; 3) aggressive en block surgery and adequate lymph node dissection for completeness; 4) precise prediction; 5) adjuvant chemoimmunoradiotherapy for LCP with unfavorable prognosis.

The H(app)athon Project (www.happathon.com), is a twelve-month initiative comprised of awareness-
building events, surveys and hackathons with the goal of “Crowdsourcing a Vision for the Happiness
Economy."
Guided by a Committee of thirty experts from organizations including the United Nations, World Economic
Forum, salesforce.com, Microsoft, and MIT, the Project wants to “hack happiness” by shifting how the
world primarily looks at value or wealth via the lens of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP). By utilizing
emerging technology and the growing body of happiness indicators around the world, the Project seeks to
empower individuals, businesses, and governmental organizations to imagine, define and build a more
holistic view of well-being that’s not based just on money.
Inspired by the Mashable article, The Value of a Happiness Economy, written by the Project’s founder, the
Project’s focus is on spreading awareness and well-being in the Big Data era where ethics and privacy
have not been standardized for technologies like Quantified Self, the Internet of Things, and mobile
sensors.
The Project’s work will culminate on March 20, 2014 with the launch of an open-source App that will help
users identify and optimize well-being in their lives, encourage others to do the same, and provide a
“global mood ring” that provides real-time happiness data from around the world.
T h e ( W h y )
World leaders, inspired by Bhutan’s, “Gross National Happiness” (GNH) have become disillusioned by the
GDP’s primary focus of wealth creation as the standard for well-being in the world. The United Nations,
inspired by GNH, called for all the Nations of the world to explore how the study of quantitative metrics
focused on multiple facets of people’s lives could better guide policy making for the future.
Using the tools already tracking our behavior and aligning with this mindset of enlightened global
measurement, combined with the expertise of over thirty organizations as part of the H(app)athon Advisory
Committee, the H(app)athon Project aims to ‘hack happiness’ and change the idea that a person’s primary
worth should be focused on wealth. We invite you to join our work, understand the power of your data and
well-being, and change the world, for good.

crowdsourcing responses from participants. Rather than start with a complete

incorporates “golden question” survey methodologies with open text-box answer forms to
truly try and listen to participants and their thoughts on what drives their values around
happiness and well-being.
Data from this survey will be used at the H(app)athon Hackathons to build the Project’s
final App. There will also be a second version of the survey available by the Fall of 2013
that incorporates the crowdsourced answers from Part One while also adding data
collection for new participants via wearable computing and sensors - tools analyzing
vocal patterns, heart rate, GPS and other data will provide a deeper understanding for
participants of how their actions as well as their words determine well-being and
happiness in a Big Data world.
