In the midst of a world that seems to be spiralling into madness, it can seem hard to stay active and healthy. We have become so busy with the day-to-day grind of work, school, social life and all other commitments that we forget just how important our health is to us. It feels so easy and doesn’t require much effort. So what are some tips to keeping fit and motivated? Here are five ideas, from my own experiences.
1. Don’t give up because you’re tired after an hour workout. There is no such thing as too much. I am not going to lie to you when I say sometimes your body can feel extremely sore on the second session but what really counts is thinking about tomorrow and the things at hand. If nothing else, then tomorrow will always be there for me. At least I hope that is. The first couple of minutes are actually quite relaxing; they’re nice to get back into a rhythm. Once the pain wears off you will begin to enjoy some form of movement again. This way you get more done in less time. Even if you think you don’t like your routine, give yourself permission to try different things. What if you want to start boxing? Maybe yoga with Adriana or maybe even just running down the street. When you get tired of doing what works for you, it might be time for you to look at what you may be missing out on while working out. Can you run around the block? No problem! Try swimming laps and taking short runs instead of long runs. Get moving, no matter where you are feeling stuck – in the car, looking at the clock in front of you or maybe, just laying on the couch, watching TV. Just being out there makes your mind feel fresh and invigorated. You’ll find it easier to go out and do something fun and make yourself happy. It has been said that “health is wealth” and sometimes that is true. We get better when we exercise. Workout helps keep our bodies in shape and energised. Not only does the stress drain away, it gives us a sense of accomplishment that we did what we could to accomplish this feat. Sometimes, having something to look forward to makes us more motivated to do whatever is needed to achieve whatever goal we’ve set. Life changes and that means change is necessary. As well as putting your daily goals on hold and giving yourself the chance to relax. Exercise for thirty seconds, then take a deep breath. A good old thirty seconds is all that will matter. Take in one minute worth of sleep and let them carry on until you fall asleep.
2. Never underestimate the power of motivation. You have got to get up every morning and look outwards looking at your surroundings and the people within it. Look across and see where they are going, where they are standing, even if they are only a few feet away from yours. Then return their gaze and see where you may be heading next. In pursuit of any long term goal, you will sometimes face a situation where you would have to make
a compromise. Sometimes situations will force you to change directions.
There will be instances where you would feel that you are drifting away from your path... distance
between you and where you want to be is increasing.
This feeling can be bad for your confidence.
All that effort you made till now feels 'wasted'.
It feels frustrating.
I completely understand. I have been through it myself many times.
It sucks. Really.
It feels BAD.
But let me share with you what I do to get out of this kind of situation.
First of all, don’t stress over it anymore. What’s done is done. No amount of stressing over it will help
you in anyway. In fact, stress hampers your abilities to think rationally and do the right thing.
Completely accept the fact that you made a compromise. Do not resist the truth. The more you resist
the truth, the more it will hurt. Accepting it will calm your mind. You will feel a lot in control of your
emotions.
Yes, it would feel 'bad' to accept what has happened, but trust that universe wants you to learn
something new. It wants you to be stronger than you currently are. It increase your resilience, your
resolve.
Always remember, it's only a part of the overall good. You may not feel it now but in the long term, it
will benefit you. Trust me. After 5 years from now, when you will look back to this situation YOU
WILL BE GLAD IT HAPPENED.

For now, just accept the fact that you have made a compromise. It will calm you. Then, focus your
full attention to the present situation… What should you do now? How do you deal with it? What's
the best course of action you can take from here?
But for this you must have a calm mind. Acceptance of the present situation is absolutely necessary
now. If you are stressed, you won’t be able to think rationally. Calm down. If you want details on how

Then, when you are in calm headspace, keep moving. Do what you have to do now. Adjust to the
new condition and try to see the best in it.
I know it's what you originally wanted. You may feel that your life is moving in the wrong direction.
But... have faith. This is all part of the bigger picture. The universe has its own plans which are better
for you. It's shaping you to become the person who deserves the kind of life you want.
It may not be apparent right now, but It's eventually good for you.
It's very important to be positive in your present situation. Always imagine positive things happening
in future. Do not let negative thoughts stay in your head.
Whenever you catch yourself thinking negative thoughts, stop, take a deep breath and imagine a
positive scene in your mind.

Find reasons to love yourself and your life. One of the best things you can do now is to align your
new life with your ultimate goals or desires. Understand that your compromise had a positive effect
on your journey through life.
It will lead you to what you ultimately want.

forward. Do not look back.
3. Remind yourself daily of your ultimate desire. Keeping a journal really helps too. Writing down your
thoughts on paper makes you think rationally and lets you examine your life.
Now, the only thing remaining is to take massive action. As you make progress, you will start seeing
how all this comes together and takes you to your ultimate desire. But till you see that silver lining,
remember to have faith.
When you can see it, you can achieve it.
