expertise of more than 100,000 endoscopic
procedures performed in the last 25 years by the

it is structured into five books, including 61
chapters and is entirely based on personal or
coworkers’ imagery (patients who were admitted and
underwent surgery during the past 30 years in our
center).
The more than 4000 images of “full color”
endoscopic surgery recorded the most significant
moments of endoscopic diagnosis and treatment of
the entire urological pathology.
Handbook of Endourology appearance in over 100
countries, is certainly one of the greatest medical

About the Editor Petri or Aurelian Geavlete, MD,ș
PhD
He is a Corresponding Member of the Romanian Academy of Medical
Sciences. In addition, he is a Professor of Urology, first-degree
Romanian specialist in Urology, and Chief of the Clinical Department
at “Saint John” Emergency Clinical Hospital in Bucharest, Romania.
He also serves as Vice President of the Romanian Association of
Urology. He has been a member of 15 international urological
societies, serving as Board Member for the EAU Video Committee,
the European Society of Imaging in Urology, and the Société
Internationale d’Urologie. Dr Geavlete has been sole author or
coauthor of over 1100 papers published in journals, national and
international congresses or meetings, and abstract books of the
most important urological publications and congresses in the world.
He has presented over 250 videos of procedures and published 21
books, as author, coauthor, or Editor. He also serves as a reviewer
for many international publications and urological meetings. In 2004,
he was granted with “Health High Order” (“Commander” grade) by
the Romanian President.
