1. HA2 - Lucozade Label Attractor Evaluation.
Our over all task for the unit HA2 was to study the Lucozade brand and come up with three
differet labels for it. We had to base them aroud three organisations. The Brook, YOUNGMINDS
and FRANK.
First of all we had to create a mindmap of what the Lucozade brand is all about. For example,
we had to write down the image it already held and what we could do to add improvements and
bring the organisations into it. I then had to blog this.
We then had to research the three organisations and find out exactly what they are about and
how we could represent them on the Lucozade labels. We presented our ideas by writing up
mind maps for all three. We also created a story board from collected images on Google for
each. This task was particularly easy as it was extremely straight forward and we basically did
exactly what the brief.
The final task when then to create a contact sheet of pictures we have captured ourselves for the
labels. The main part of this task was image manipulation. So we used Photoshop and chose
final pictures to edit and make into labels. We already had the Lucozade template so we were
working solely on our own pictures.
Overall I found this task quite easy, I have learnt new skills and now feel a whole lot more
comfortable when using the programs Photoshop and Illustrator.
