1) The document provides guidelines for a collaborative story writing group project using Wetpaint, an online platform for building communities. 2) Students will be divided into groups of 3 to discuss ideas and a title for a short story using Wetpaint forums. 3) The short story must include an introduction, middle, climax and ending and be written in a chain style with drafts and edits done online through Wetpaint.

Guidelines
Wetpaint - It lets you build a rich, online community around the whatever-it-is that you’re really into.
Utilizing the best features of wikis, blogs, forums and social networks, Wetpaint mixes everything you
need so you can create, collect, and organize content on your own social website.
1. Get into groups of 3 students.
2. Discuss among your group members about ideas and a title for your short story through the
forum within the wetpaint.
3. Your group’s short story should consist of an INTRODUCTION, MIDDLE, CLIMAX AND AN
ENDING. It is advised that the writing process be done in a CHAIN STORY approach.
4. All discussion, drafts and editing MUST be done online through the usage of your Wetpaint.
5. A weekly assessment will be done to view progress and group members’ participation in editing
and adding to the completion of the story. (individual assessment will be made)
6. You are allowed to fully utilize the Wetpaint in personalizing your own webpage for a creative
feel of the story.
7. At the end of the fourth week, all group members MUST post up their reflections on the story
writing activity Wetpaint.

10. WARNING!! DO NOT LOG ON AT THE SAME TIME WITH THE OTHER 2 MEMBERS OF YOUR

*Assessment will be based on the efforts made by all group members in editing and constructing the
story through Wetpaint. Remember to review your grammar/language used in the writing.
