1. 1. Attending teachers should return to their schools and instruct their peers on using the platform.
2. Teachers should begin posting material for the benefit of their school communities.
3. Increased competence in using the Notesmaster platform will allow the sustainable
implementation of a blended learning approach. This will enable stakeholders to leverage the
most from the various ICT initiatives underway in the Caribbean.
1 DAY TRAININGPACKAGES
Format: 9.30am - 3.30pm (Lunch 12.30pm - 1.30pm)
- CXC-Notesmaster Initiative introduction.
- Registration on Notesmaster.
- Introductory brief on the main Notesmaster features.
- Introduction to Open Educational Resources (OER) and their uses.
- Introduction to the Editor; creating content, sharing content and peer reviewing content.
- Groups area activities.
- Introduction to the Virtual Subject Associations.
- Each teacher participant creates a class group.
- One teacher from each school represented creates their respective Official School Group.
Teacher Outcomes:
- Teachers will develop a strong understanding of the Notesmaster platform.
- Teachers will feel comfortable creating and sharing content on Notesmaster.
- Teachers will feel comfortable search the web for Open Educational Resources.
- Teachers will feel comfortable introducing and instructing their peers on Notesmaster.
- Teachers will feel comfortable introducing their class to Notesmaster.
SUSTAINABLEOBJECTIVES
2. 1. Attending teachers need to be registered on Notesmaster ahead of the webinar.
2. Each school should have identified a Notesmaster liaison to work directly with the Notesmaster
support team ahead of the webinar.
3. The liaison will be responsible for following up with workshop attendees and in offering them
support in using the Notesmaster platform.

- CXC-Notesmaster Initiative introduction.
- Introductory brief on the main Notesmaster platform features.
- Introduction to Open Educational Resources (OER) and their uses.
- Using Notesmaster to archive existing OERfrom around the internet.
- A brief introduction to the Editor.
- Introducing the Virtual Subject Associations.
- Each teacher participant creates a class group.
Teacher Outcomes:
- Teachers will develop an understanding of the Notesmaster platform.
- Teachers will feel comfortable creating and sharing OERon Notesmaster.
- Teachers will have joined the required Virtual Subject Associations.
- Teachers will feel comfortable introducing their peers to Notesmaster.
- Teachers will feel comfortable introducing their class to Notesmaster.
