  • #6 Today, working in partnership with the University of California, Merced , the Great Valley Center continues to be supported by foundations, individuals and corporations who have an interest in improving the Great Central Valley's quality of life. GVC's Board of Directors has adopted a policy of non-advocacy. Therefore, the Great Valley Center does not endorse candidates or ballot initiatives.
  • #11 GVC has been given the budget to increase its manpower for Instructional Designers, the positions that will be available will be in the Bakersfield area. Those who are interested need to be reminded that even though it is in the Bakersfield area it is a superb position with a superb organization that have given many opportunities for graduating students to step into employment. Other opportunities from GVC are working as a volunteer in their various workshops of interest.
