  • #4 Andrew: Well Nick, I’m so glad you asked Here is a slide of the highlights of our 10 year sustainability plan. Now although we’ve effectively broken every PowerPoint rule, we think it shows that none of these sections is an island, and each one is a key component to a successful and sustainable BAP chapter. But, to make this easier to understand, we are going to break this down slide by slide, starting with recruiting—the foundation of our Lambda Beta Chapter.
  • #6 In an attempt to reach our potential members even sooner, This fall we are going to visit accounting principles classes to show students that accounting and Beta Alpha Psi can bring them. In addition to simply visiting these classes, the Lambda Beta chapter is going to sponsor the start up of an Accounting Club which will act as a funneling organization into Beta Alpha Psi. What do you think about the plans Nick?
  • #7 This year we added four recruiting tools that led to the result of initiating 30 members These four recruitment techniques allowed us to reach more students than ever before. By getting our name out to the accounting community, we were able to increase our membership by 50%.

  • #14 But seriously this year we did a lot for media exposure: We were featured in an article in the Schools website and the Schools newspaper We are currently working on getting into our cities newspaper the TAMPA TRIBUNE
  • #15 But perhaps we have done this year for media exposure and maybe our chapter as a whole is our website. Our site not only helps IN EACH SECTION---list later
  • #19 Now we all know that why Alumni are important, networking opp., serve as role models, and are valuable recrituing tools. However our chapters alumi have gone far and above. For example, this year one of our alumni Chedu Moyo organized and executed a Junior a community service project with our chapter and one of the Big Four firms. Through a program called Junior achievement, our members were able to communicate their financial knowledge to middle school students in our community. We had so much fun the students forgot they were learning. Through Chedu, we were able to further develop a relationship with professionals and create a new link to an outstanding program, Junior Achievement. So how have we managed to keep our alumni involved?
  • #21 Another way to keep alumni involved is our chapter newsletter¸ which we published this semester and distributed. However, in the future, we plan to expand our distribution list to increase our media exposure, networking opportunities, and institutional support. So Nick, I BETTER to be seeing you around! : )
  • #22 A local professional, impressed with the direction our chapter is headed, has offered to sponsor our efforts with an annual grant of $1000.

  • #33 Org Chart with everyone's face How do we fill all of these positions along with the other 11 director positions? Candidate Class E-Board Mentoring Program And through P&P and ****Including 11 other director positions!!!!!!!!!!!
  • #34 So the budget is under control this year and our process we intend on keeping it that way by hosting fundraisers and by working at USF football games and New York Yankee spring training games. We recently had a firm commit to giving us $1000.00 a year and we have also had firms offer to sponsor trips and be a part of meet the firms. Getting businesses to sponsor and donate is something our chapter is going to strive to do more of in the future.
