The ArtsCenter had a successful year focusing on stability and serving more people. It achieved record attendance of 110,000 individuals and a $24,000 profit. This was made possible by the dedicated board, solid staff, and leadership of interim executive director Noel James. The new executive director, Daniel Mayer, looks forward to working with the community to set new goals and programs.
Meet me at the albany case study
Meet Me at the Albany (MMatA) is a creative arts club for older adults aged 60+ based in South East London that meets weekly. It offers a diverse range of artistic activities and workshops to help combat social isolation among seniors. Coproduction between artists and older adults is central to MMatA. It has enabled isolated older community members to realize their potential through creative expression and civic participation. Both quantitative and qualitative methods are used to measure the project's success in enhancing quality of life, social support, well-being and reducing depression among older adult participants.

Randolph N. (Randy) Chapman has been actively involved in community leadership roles throughout his professional career. He has served on the boards of numerous non-profit organizations, including two terms each as board chair of United Way of Olmsted County and president of Rochester Symphony Orchestra & Choral. Chapman has also led several highly successful capital campaigns, raising over $8 million for the Boys and Girls Club of Rochester and $2.5 million for the Empowerment Center. In addition, he has held advisory roles in his community and served on the boards of various arts, health, and economic development organizations.

This is the story of how Thornton Heath is using ABCD to building a stronger more connected community using people power. This process was commissioned by Croydon NHS, and Croydon Local Government, they commissioned Croydon Voluntary Action and Nurture Development.
The most exciting feature of this work is the citizen-led action that is driving the process. 20 connectors (local residents) have been having hundreds of conversations with their neighbours about what they have locally and how they can use what they have to secure what they need.
