Great user experience is

Challenges
1. Standardization of information
2. Linking/connecting data from multiple
government organizations to enable more
advanced use
3. Trust
4. Design thinking – managers need to adapt
5. Legislation with counter intuitive user experience

Editor's Notes

  • #2 We use more and more digital services. To deliver the "good society” government needs to create services that are a pleasure to use. But what if the context of those services are outside the scope for government? Open data and open API:s can enable service design that provide egov services in non-government contexts. Government is shifting to digital Digital is transforming services rapidly Traditional view is government vs private sector as silos. Good service design may require open data and API:s or interaction in multiple contexts Bridging this gap involves several challenges – standardization, connected data, trust, and more. Design thinking has to become a core competence in managers.
