that occurred in 2011 at the Fukushima I Nuclear Power Plant following an underwater earthquake
that produced tsunamis, eventually resulting in a full nuclear meltdown and toxic amounts of
radiation being dumped into the atmosphere. This particular nuclear disaster is infamous because,
despite the earthquake and tsunami, it is still considered a man made disaster. Had Fukushima
plant workers been properly trained regarding what to do in the event of a nuclear disaster and had
the Japanese government reacted more swiftly and efficiently, the damage to the reactors would
have been less extensive and a full nuclear meltdown could have been prevented altogether. The
factors that led to the meltdown, however, can be learned from and used to develop better safety
procedures and educate people so that hopefully the next nuclear accident can be avoided in the
future. Simply put, the nuclear reactors at the Fukushima plant use chemical reactions to boil water,

What personality traits do we display with our actions? Our personalities are shaped by our life
experiences and the people around us. They re shaped by our upbringing, the way our parents
treated us and the many thing we learned from them. They re shaped by our past experiences
whether a being on the receiving end of a kind deed by another person, or the receiving end of a
gross injustice. These experiences shape our personalities and in turn shape how we view the
world and treat those around us. John Cheever s The Five Forty Eight is the story about a
woman trying to put herself back together after being broken, albeit in a slightly questionable
way. Miss Dent is a woman who previously spent 8 months in a hospital, and is still clearly a bit
unhinged. She is a fragile woman who becomes attached to Mr. Blake after he hires her as his
secretary. Mr. Blake sees how vulnerable she is and takes advantage of her, afterwards having
an employee fire her and keep her from seeing him. Months later Miss Dent stalks Mr. Blake,
cornering him on the Five Forty Eight. Mr. Blake is terrified, but Miss Dent claims she will not
kill him as long as he listens to her. After Miss Dent has made him feel the way he made her, she
leaves him on the platform; weeping as he made her, but unharmed. Many aspects of Mr. Blake s
personality are displayed throughout the story as we observe his thoughts and the way he treats

Biblical Worldview in Romans It is an important factor in a Christian s life to have a biblical
worldview that coincides with God s beliefs. A Christian cannot grow in their relationship with God
with just their own understanding and knowledge. They must surround their framework of beliefs
and ideas on Gods word and what he calls his children to live their life accordingly. That is why

Christian Worldview and we as Christian must be able to defend our worldview and apply it to our

1:18 25 and 8:18 25 that in creation God revealed himself. Nevertheless, even though he showed
his power and gave people no reason for excuses, believers chose to not live by his ways. They
turned their backs to God and worship things that were not of him. They lived in lust and sexual
immoral behaviors. God designed a man and a woman to be fruitful, but they chose sinful
desires and gave into same sex relations. And those who chose to live in their wickedness and
live their life with being the only ones in control, God allowed them to live in their shamefulness.
Furthermore, Paul tries to convey to the Christian eye that we should be focused on where we are
with the lord and where we are taking the rest of the creation. Human nature and humanity were

Title: Presence of increased stiffness of the common carotid artery and endothelial dysfunction in
severely obese children: A prospective study

Numerous epidemiological studies infer that cardiovascular complications have a directly
proportional relationship with obesity in children. The study I chose however, has gone deeper by
observing arterial changes as well as its relationship to cardiovascular risk in children who are
obese. One of the reasons this study design was chosen by the author comes from a 55 year cohort
study which evaluated the morbidity and mortality from cardiovascular diseases in adults who
were overweight in their adolescent years. The study showed that of the adults evaluated, the
adults with obesity in their adolescent years had an increased risk of morbidity and mortality from
cardio vascular disease, regardless of their weight classification as an adult. What these studies did
not observe however, were the pathological changes that take place in the cardiovascular system,
and even more specifically how obesity associated artherogenesis develops during the adolescent
years. Fortunately, with the development of new technology, different echo tracking procedures
could be used to observe the pathological function of the carotid and brachial arteries and children.
