This document provides a grading scale for evaluating engineering service excellence across 18 attributes. The attributes include initiative/self-confidence, professional competence, effective intelligence, conceptual ability, planning ability, judgement and decision making ability, tact and cooperation, ability to inspire and motivate, capacity to withstand stress, capacity to achieve results, entrepreneur quality, leadership quality, welfare and morale, training and development of subordinates, bearing and demeanour, loyalty, integrity, communication skills - written, and communication skills - oral. Each attribute is graded on a scale of 1 to 9, with 9 being exceptional and 1 being unsatisfactory.
