The document is a planning stage report for a graded unit project on creating an equine facility for a college. It outlines areas of research needed including animal care and welfare, facility management, required resources, and potential barriers. For the animal care section, the report lists factors to consider such as horse sourcing, welfare needs, licensing, housing, and costs. The facility management section addresses student and staff health and safety, funding sources, and disease prevention. Upcoming timelines show planned work periods accounting for college assignments and personal commitments.
Steel building Graded Unit Civil Engineering Project HND Project Glasgow Kel...Tehmas Saeed
This was my second Graded unit Project, it involved construction of Steel framed Office building, based on HND modules we were advised to devise solution of Steel building which two areas of specialisation in which I chose Sustainability and Frame Structure. This assignment does not have drawings and calculations unfortunately i have lost them, however their is a copy at Former Stow College now Glasgow Kelvin college so students can access from there. For any structural help, I would strongly advise to meet Mr Murdo a very competent lecturer in Kelvin college.
Although its rough guide, we were not heavily using journals at that stage, as we relied mostly on our course material. However some of the Green material which i used was taken from companies publications.
Graded unit Civil engineering PresentationTehmas Saeed
It was summary of Graded Unit Project of Steel Office Building HND project which i have finished in 2011, please note calculations and drawings are missing from this presentations as they were submitted earlier, however a copy may be available for new students from Glagsow kelvin college. Please ask Murdo or Maureen for that.

Wondering how you can start working or improve your qualifications in the beauty industry? The Beauty Therapy Advanced Apprenticeship Level 3 will prepare the candidate to progress in the beauty industry and specialise in spa treatments. This will include the safe use of equipment involved in the spa industry (hydrotherapy, flotation and body wraps). Classic treatments of body massage, indian head massage, massage using pre-blended aromatherapy oils, stone therapy treatments and business promotion and planning. Health and Safety is also part of every unit. You’ll work closely your client base and will need the ability to make them feel comfortable and at ease during their visit, being pleasant and personable in your approach.
Most therapists are based in beauty salons, although some can work in holiday resorts, or cruise liners.
Ground Engineering Issues with Alazhar Tunnel Egypt ICE Journal Paper Tehmas Saeed

Identification of Engineering Technique
Application to similar Problem in any present or future project.
Easy to digest information on the importance of hydration in sport, the physiological effects of dehydration on performance, the role of sports drinks as an ergogenic aid!

Animal Care and Welfare Issues
As thisisa proposal to create an educational facility withhorses, obviouslythe basicsmustbe

Where AmI able to purchase/adoptedhorses?
How manyI may require?
The breedof horse suitable foreducational purposes?

Codesof practice for horses
Anyform of licencingIrequire

Resources
In orderto be able to take thisoff the groundand beingthe developmentstage,it’salwaysgoodto
figure outwhatyou will needinordertoexecute thisbusinessproposal. There isdifferentcategories
of resources:
Human Resources – People withknowledgeon theanimal
In-human Resources
Human Resources
Essentiallythisformof resourceswouldbe acollectionof people withinthe businessof workingwith
horses, fromlecturersatthe college whohave avast knowledge ontheirwellbeing, topeople who
workwithnothingbuthorses.
But thiscan alsogo for hiringpeople aswell. Alongwiththe horse care andthe time itwill take to

4. orderto buildthe facility.Butaswe are on a budget, itmay alsobe worth it to see if the college’s
joinercoursesmaybe able to helpinbuildingthe facilityandalsotrytoput it withinanothercourses
curriculumandtherefore give more backtothe college asa whole, plusitwouldcostanybuilding
feesif the horsesrequire astable. Atthe same time,Iwould alsoneedtoresearchwhowouldbe
able to fix the drainage andthe floodingissuesthe gleebsuffersfrom.
Inhuman Resources
Thisform of resourcesismore inanimate based.Whenitcomestoresearching, utilisingthe internet,

Barriers
As we know,noteverythingrunssmoothlyinlife.Noplanisaccomplished withoutdifferentfactors

to lookat differentfactorswithinmylife atthe momentandtreatthemas a possible barrierthat

Familylife;particularlywithmymother
Socialisingwithfriendsoutof college
Movingaway fromhome.
Volunteering
Drivinglessonswithinthe nextmonth.
Issueswiththe internetorothercommunications
Caringfor my ownanimals:Cleaning, caring,feeding,groomingetc.
If any days I am off sickor ill
Holidays
Movingpreparations
These are all formsof barriersthat maycause the developmentof myequine facilitytogo
underdone orwithlittle progress.Anythingthatmaycome up,will be writtenwithinatimelinealong
withanycommentsand issueswiththe project,alongwithhow the barrierwasdealtwithonthat
day.
Solutionsare these aren’tsimple.Inmycase, due tomy mothersufferingfromagoraphobia and
othermental issues, muchof my time, particularlywhenIamoff isdedicatedtoalsostayinghome if
I am requiredtogo outshoppingforthe house,alongwithanydoctor’s appointments/meeting.
Thoughmy time isdedicatedtohelpingthe household,Ihave afew solutionswhendealingwiththe
above barriers:
Planningdayswhere Iwouldresearchandworkonmy developmentstage aroundany
appointmentsormeetingswithdoctors.
5. Settinga single daypertotallydedicatedtomymum;shopping,supportetc.
Try to use writtenresourceswhenathome forresearchon the animal side of the plan if
there isan issue withinternetconnectionduringanyformof researchwiththe project.
Setaside a fewhoursa day for tendingtothe animals,alongwithevery2daysfor daily
cleaningandtheirownhusbandry.
Usingthe timeline foranyothercollege workrequiredalongsidethisplan.Thiswould
include anyassessmentrevision,reportwritingoranyassessmentresists/remediation.
GenerallyReportswouldtake afull daytowrite up,so I wouldbe able co-workthese with
any phone callsIwouldhave to make formy research, butit forthe animalsorfor peoples
safety.
For movingpreparations,thoughtIwouldn’tbe movingtillafterIhave finishedmycourse, I
wouldneedtouse mytimeline toallocate time foranyphone calls, viewingsandmeetings
withthe landlord, asthistakesa longtime.5 days to a weekwouldbe required.
Holidays;Withinthe Easterholidays,whenitcomesnearthe endof the plan,I will have
more free time.Thiscan getfilledwithhelpingmum, volunteeringwithvets&guide dogsor
