Tarun Jain of Class X, Roll Number 39 presented a PowerPoint presentation on GPRS (General Packet Radio System) for their Computer subject. GPRS was introduced to meet the growing demand for wireless data and packet services, which would result in increased wireless internet usage. GPRS can also easily integrate into existing GSM networks with minor modifications and be deployed incrementally. The presentation covered GPRS architecture and how it functions as an extension of GSM networks while switching from circuit to packet switching.

mobile devices needed more data speed and for that GPRS is
being introduced to tackle the growing demand of wireless data
