Editor's Notes

  • #3 Time: 30-45 minutes. You want to keep people interested. Consider having a quick ice breaker before the slides or playing relevant youtube videos as people enter. Perhaps also have an email sign up at the door so that you can follow up and hand out a one-pager to all attendees.
  • #4 SUGGESTION: Play a video (youtube) to deliver history and WHY briefly and concisely. Here are a few videos that do a good job explaining AIESEC: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ciKqX5SwG84http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=afa9NRZFn_Q (lengthy)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=59R_yblL0Ck&list=PL0IlK0TwBAaw_kDNlM95zBQO9U1qNYM2Jhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v4j-d4UZ2JQ&list=PL0IlK0TwBAaw_kDNlM95zBQO9U1qNYM2J
  • #6 Discuss the value prop
  • #7 Open sample TN forms to show your audience 
  • #12 Elaborate!
  • #13 Discuss what is included in program fees. Including preparation, airport pickup, reception, support while abroad, etc. Explain “matched” if unclear.
  • #16 Former Secretary General of the United Nations
  • #17 Explain the importance of these companies supporting what we do. Global youth voice and first choice partner etc.
  • #18 Bring in a previous EP who can speak about their experience. Try to have them show some photos and discuss life while abroad, working experience, and what the impact of that experience has been on their personal and professional life. If you are unable to have a guest speaker attend your info session, there are lots and lots of testimonials on youtube.
