2. What are the wonders of nature
• Morning dew drops on the plants/trees.
• The formation of eclipses
• The Rainbow
3. Solar and Lunar Eclipses
• What is a Solar Eclipse?
• A Solar Eclipse is a result of the moon’s movement, in which it passes between the Earth and the Sun.
The Sun, the Earth and the Moon all lie in the same line during this phenomenon.
• During a solar eclipse, the Moon can sometimes perfectly cover the Sun because its apparent size is
nearly the same as the Sun's when viewed from the Earth. A total solar eclipse is in fact an occultation
while an annular solar eclipse is a transit.
What is a Lunar Eclipse?
• The Moon does not have its own light, therefore, it shines because its surface reflects the Sun's
rays. A lunar eclipse occurs when Earth comes between the Sun and the Moon, and blocks the
Sun's rays from directly reaching the Moon. ss

5. Dew is water in the form of droplets that appears on thin,
exposed objects in the morning or evening due
to condensation.[1]
6. A rainbow is an excellent demonstration of the dispersion of light and one more piece of evidence that visible light is
composed of a spectrum of wavelengths, each associated with a distinct color. Each individual droplet of water acts as a
tiny prism that both disperses the light and reflects it back to your eye. As you sight into the sky, wavelengths of light
associated with a specific color arrive at your eye from the collection of droplets. The net effect of the vast array of
droplets is that a circular arc of VIBGYOR is seen across the sky.
7. If we do not take care of Nature
• Nature would take its own course and what would happen????
• Natural Disasters like
• Tsunami, floods, hurricanes.
• Earthquakes, volcanic eruptions
• Cyclones, tornadoes, storms……
8. A tsunami (Japanese) is a series of waves in a water body caused by the
displacement of a large volume of water, generally in an ocean or a large lake.
9.
10. Earthquake
• An earthquake (also known as a quake, tremor or temblor) is the shaking
of the surface of the Earth resulting from a sudden release of energy in
the Earth's lithosphere that creates seismic waves.

12. Wonders of Nature are the five elements of
Nature.
• Do you know?
• Name them.
Thank you….
Have a good day and take care of the
environment….
