● #GivingTuesday has had double-digit
growth year after year since 2012.
● Large organizations do the best but that
trend is shifting.
● Faith-based organization received the
largest percentage of gifts in 2014.
● About 17% of donations were made on a
mobile device.
1)Try a micro donation campaign for new project.
Tip: Use custom donation forms to capture full donor data
including mobile number and email for future use.
2) Launch your year-end fundraising campaign on
December 1 to kickstart donations. Tip: 30% of all
donations occur in December and December 31st is the
most generous day of the year.
3) Make donating convenient across mobile, social and
online. Put links to your donation form in all
communications - even email.

donations to Instagram, FB and Twitter. Add #YourTag and
#GivingTuesdayNWO.
6) Empower volunteers to raise peer to peer donations on
social media for #GivingTuesday.
Tip: Ask volunteers to create personal fundraising pages on
social media.
