This document describes a hand gesture controlled forklift prototype. The prototype uses an accelerometer sensor to detect hand gestures which are sent to an Arduino microcontroller. The Arduino then sends the signal to an HT12E encoder and RF transmitter. The transmitted signal is received by an RF receiver and sent to an HT12D decoder and motor driver. The motor driver controls DC motors to move the forklift forward, backward, left, and right based on the hand gestures detected. The prototype was created to allow contactless control of machines like forklifts for improved safety and efficiency.
