SUMMARY
 Pre-Spanish literature is characterized by Folk tales, Epics, and Folk
songs.
 Propaganda Movement was spearheaded by the known intellectual
middle-class such as Jose Rizal, Marcelo Del Pilar, Antonio Luna,
Graciano Lopez Jaena, Jose. Ma. Panganiban and Pedro Paterno.
 In the American Regime, Americans influenced Filipino writers to use
English in writing and medium of instruction at school.
 In the Period of Activism, campus newspapers were written to show
the youth protests. They held pens and wrote on placards in red paint.

SUMMARY  Pre-Spanish literature is characterized by Folk tales, Epics, and Folk songs.  Propaganda Movement was spearheaded by the known intellectual middle-class such as Jose Rizal, Marcelo Del Pilar, Antonio Luna, Graciano Lopez Jaena, Jose. Ma. Panganiban and Pedro Paterno.  In the American Regime, Americans influenced Filipino writers to use English in writing and medium of instruction at school.  In the Period of Activism, campus newspapers were written to show the youth protests. They held pens and wrote on placards in red paint.
