Genie JTR
Joule-Thomson Regulator
The Genie Joule-Thomson Regulator (JTR) is
a four-stage pressure regulator designed to
compensate for Joule-Thomson cooling during
sample extraction
The stainless steel regulator employs a multi-piston design that is ratio
controlled in the first three stages and user-adjustable on the fourth

KEYBENEFITS

stage

• Eliminates the need for multiple
regulators in series - reducing cost,

space, and set up time

• No need to constantly adjust the set

changes over time

the inlet supply pressure fluctuates. No more headaches of
having to constantly readjust the set pressure of each stage.

Provides Steady Output Pressure
An additional benefit of the JTR is its ability to provide a
stable outlet pressure as the inlet supply pressure changes
over time. This is a common occurrence at natural gas storage
facilities and during the use of calibration gas cylinders, which
makes the JTR the regulator of choice for these applications

even when inlet supply pressure

The advantage of the ratio controlled piston design is that it
ensures the first three stages are always functional, even when

pressure of each stage

• Provides a steady output pressure

Eliminates the Need for Multiple Regulators
