Las reglas de esta sección del Código se han elaborado teniendo en cuenta las necesidades de aplicaciones que incluyen las tuberías que suelen encontrarse en las centrales de generación de energía eléctrica, las plantas industriales, los sistemas de calefacción geotérmica y los sistemas de calefacción y refrigeración centrales.
En el Código B31.1, encontramos las condiciones de diseño que definen las presiones, temperaturas y diversas fuerzas aplicables al diseño de los sistemas de tuberías de potencia.
Estos sistemas de tuberías siempre se deben diseñar para la condición más severa de presión, temperatura y carga coincidentes, pero depende directamente de las necesidades de la planta y del usuario . La condición más severa será aquella que resulte en el mayor espesor de pared de la tubería requerido y la mayor clasificación de componentes.
En un gasoducto, el proceso inicial de diseño toma en cuenta los parámetros operacionales relacionados con la tasa de flujo, presión, temperatura, contaminantes, las construcciones que afectan el factor de seguridad y la ruta (tierra o costa afuera), con esta información podemos elaborar el diseño conceptual donde fijamos los tamaños estándares de la tubería, seleccionamos el material, todo esto nos permitirá evaluar la factibilidad técnica y costos. Working principle
Channels are formed between the plates and the corner ports
are arranged so that the two media flow through alternate
channels. The heat is transferred through the plate between
the channels, and complete counter-current flow is created
for highest possible efficiency. The corrugation of the plates
provides the passage between the plates, supports each plate
against the adjacent one and enhances the turbulence, result-
ing in efficient heat transfer.
