« Generation C » definition 
“Generation C” is also called “Digital 
Natives”. It is all the people been born after 
1984. Generation C is connected at the 
same time at home, at the school, but it 
also uses mobile phones to look for of the 
information, exchange, communicate and 
share. It is native of the digital technology 
and imagines badly how the society could 
work before the arrival of Web..
Concepts: agree or disagree? 
“I feel like I can't go anywhere without my 
phone... I didn't have a phone for a day or so 
because it was stolen, and it felt like I was on 
another planet.” 
“Any question can be immediately answered. 
Everyone is at your fingertips.” 
- Generation C is 24h/24 connected on 
networks. (They share photos, post a 
comment, watch videos…) 
-This sentence show that younger are 
addicted to their phone and for them, it’s 
a real need to surf the net. 
Have internet anywhere with you 
allows you to be informed 
constantly. 
However, we must pay attention to 
the wrong information.

and share it with others. We do this because it’s 
empowering and necessary for our world ». 
The act of creating has become second 
nature to Gen C, but they are selective, 
only adding something when they think it 
is relevant and they can have an impact. 
“Usually I'm creating to share with 
people... And hopefully they could create 
things of their own. I could share that 
passion with other people.” 
I think that it is attractive to share information with 
other people. It is a new kind to find information.

The integration of the connected car in the future society. 
Indeed, Apple launches « Car Play » with the new Class C Mercedes. 
Mercedes-Benz offers its high-end infotainment system COMAND Online, 
compatible with most of the current smartphones.
What is the interest of CarPlay? 
By commands in the steering wheel either by the voice (with Siri), the driver can 
pilot the phone (dialing, reading of vocal messages and SMS), listen to some music 
or view maps. This enables customers to use Mercedes-Benz Apps while driving in 
a safe and comfortable way.
I think that a good product which could reach the generation C because 
smartphones have become an indispensable part of everyday life, and embedded 
in-vehicle infotainment systems currently communicate intensively with the 
outside world. The seamless integration of these two systems is able to provide 
customers with maximum comfort.
