Chassis mounted structure is a base component for shelters or containers mounted on heavy transport vehicles. When the vehicle is driven in rough terrains or during off-road transportation this structure has a significant role in protecting the sophisticated cargo and intelligent tracking systems placed inside the shelters. During off-road transportation or warhead conditions the vehicle is subjected to large unevenness in load due to road or soil irregularities in rough terrains, which causes vibrations to be induced in the vehicle. As the nature of vibrations induced in vehicle during travel on off-road or cross-country terrains is random and unpredictable, there is a concern to analyse the vibration response of chassis and chassis mounted structures is needed. Present work deals with vibration measurement and spectral analysis of a chassis mounted structure designed for off-road and commercial transport vehicles. The road profile on which the vibration measurement has been carried out includes paved road and cross-country terrain segments. The vibration measurement has been carried at three different vehicle speeds. Signal analysis procedure for the acquired test data is discussed. The chassis mounted structure under concern is intended to hold two shelters or containers. From the vibration measurement at critical locations, g-(RMS) and g-(peak) values for paved and cross-country roads have been found out. Power spectral density values have also been found on chassis and structure for the same transport situations. Major inferences include the evaluation of minimum and maximum g-values (peak & RMS) on chassis and chassis mounted structure. Power spectral density graphs are constructed from which the dominant frequency for both road profiles is found out

The analysis of thin rectangular orthotropic plate with two opposite edges clamped and the other two opposite edges simply supported CSCS , carrying transverse loads was investigated in this study. The Ritz total potential energy functional was used. The minimization of the total potential energy functional produces the expression for the coefficient of deflection. The coefficient of deflection was used to obtain equation for the maximum lateral load of an orthotropic thin rectangular plate based on allowable deflection. Also, equation for the maximum lateral load of an orthotropic thin rectangular plate based on allowable stress was developed.Developed stiffness coefficients were substituted in the lateral load equations to obtain the maximum lateral load values for a CSCS plate. Numerical examples using permissible deflection of 10mm and yield strength of 250MPa, plate thickness varying from 5mm to 12.5 mm with 0.5mm intervals were done to determine the maximum lateral loads corresponding to an orthotropic thin rectangular CSCS plate carrying transverse loads when n1 = Ey Ex = 0.7 and n2 = G Ex = 0.41 for aspect ratios b a of 1.0, 1.25 and 1.50. Development of Speed Profile Model for Two-Lane Rural Roadinventionjournals
It's desirable to make road design match with driver's expectation and consistency of road design implies harmonized connection among road design elements. A road alignment safety evaluation based on road design consistency which has been accelerated recently is designed to calculate the variation of driving speed depending on geometric structure based on operating speed profile and the result is used as the index in evaluating the design consistency. Instead of the safety of individual road design elements (tangent or curve), consistency of continuous design elements is rather stressed. Under such background, driving speed prediction model at horizontal curve/tangent and acceleration/deceleration model at entry and exit of horizontal curve were developed in this study in a bid to evaluate the alignment safety of a 2-lane rural road, which will be used to supplement current road design standard to operating speed-based standard so as to make commitment to designing the road from driver's standpoint, not the viewpoint of road designer or policy-maker.
This paper presents a study of the parametric variability of post-tensioned concrete box-girder pedestrian bridges. SAMO2 algorithm is used for the parametric study. This algorithm combines SA with a mutation operator, to find the economic solutions. A span-length parametric study analyzes the characteristics for the best design of a three-span deck in which the main span ranges from 30 to 60 m. The depth and the number of strands were adjusted according to span length, while the thickness of the slabs presented the same optimum values in all cases. Results show that the amount of steel and volume of concrete per square meter of deck shows a good correlation with the main span length. This study demonstrates that by increasing the main span length by one meter, the total cost per square meter of the deck increases by 6.38 euros on average. Thus, this paper shows the relationship between the span length and geometrical and steel variables to produce and build a cost-efficient pedestrian bridge.

Abstract:
This paper proposes a system to differentiate between human-generated and AI-generated texts using stylometric analysis. The system analyzes text files and classifies writing styles by employing various clustering algorithms, such as k-means, k-means++, hierarchical, and DBSCAN. The effectiveness of these algorithms is measured using silhouette scores. The system successfully identifies distinct writing styles within documents, demonstrating its potential for plagiarism detection.
Introduction:
Stylometry, the study of linguistic and structural features in texts, is used for tasks like plagiarism detection, genre separation, and author verification. This paper leverages stylometric analysis to identify different writing styles and improve plagiarism detection methods.
Methodology:
The system includes data collection, preprocessing, feature extraction, dimensional reduction, machine learning models for clustering, and performance comparison using silhouette scores. Feature extraction focuses on lexical features, vocabulary richness, and readability scores. The study uses a small dataset of texts from various authors and employs algorithms like k-means, k-means++, hierarchical clustering, and DBSCAN for clustering.
Results:
Experiments show that the system effectively identifies writing styles, with silhouette scores indicating reasonable to strong clustering when k=2. As the number of clusters increases, the silhouette scores decrease, indicating a drop in accuracy. K-means and k-means++ perform similarly, while hierarchical clustering is less optimized.
Conclusion and Future Work:
The system works well for distinguishing writing styles with two clusters but becomes less accurate as the number of clusters increases. Future research could focus on adding more parameters and optimizing the methodology to improve accuracy with higher cluster values. This system can enhance existing plagiarism detection tools, especially in academic settings.

A hierarchical digital twin of a Naval DC power system has been developed and experimentally verified. Similar to other state-of-the-art digital twins, this technology creates a digital replica of the physical system executed in real-time or faster, which can modify hardware controls. However, its advantage stems from distributing computational efforts by utilizing a hierarchical structure composed of lower-level digital twin blocks and a higher-level system digital twin. Each digital twin block is associated with a physical subsystem of the hardware and communicates with a singular system digital twin, which creates a system-level response. By extracting information from each level of the hierarchy, power system controls of the hardware were reconfigured autonomously. This hierarchical digital twin development offers several advantages over other digital twins, particularly in the field of naval power systems. The hierarchical structure allows for greater computational efficiency and scalability while the ability to autonomously reconfigure hardware controls offers increased flexibility and responsiveness. The hierarchical decomposition and models utilized were well aligned with the physical twin, as indicated by the maximum deviations between the developed digital twin hierarchy and the hardware.

Power plants release a large amount of water vapor into the
atmosphere through the stack. The flue gas can be a potential
source for obtaining much needed cooling water for a power
plant. If a power plant could recover and reuse a portion of this
moisture, it could reduce its total cooling water intake
requirement. One of the most practical way to recover water
from flue gas is to use a condensing heat exchanger. The power
plant could also recover latent heat due to condensation as well
as sensible heat due to lowering the flue gas exit temperature.
Additionally, harmful acids released from the stack can be

Condensation of vapors in flue gas is a complicated
phenomenon since heat and mass transfer of water vapor and
various acids simultaneously occur in the presence of noncondensable
gases such as nitrogen and oxygen. Design of a
condenser depends on the knowledge and understanding of the
heat and mass transfer processes. A computer program for
numerical simulations of water (H2O) and sulfuric acid (H2SO4)
condensation in a flue gas condensing heat exchanger was
developed using MATLAB. Governing equations based on
mass and energy balances for the system were derived to
predict variables such as flue gas exit temperature, cooling
water outlet temperature, mole fraction and condensation rates
of water and sulfuric acid vapors. The equations were solved
using an iterative solution technique with calculations of heat
and mass transfer coefficients and physical properties.
