Dodge Viper - Production Cmm Inspector. Built and maintained in house and contracted
fixtures for vehicle build. Quality of frames and parts for both vehicles were maintained
through Cmm inspection. 3 stages required for vehicle build: A) The frame itself after Net
Form & Pierce operation B) Hot running chassis – Measure -, rear clip install, front fascia
install. F.O.D. install for windshield and door opening operation C) Final build – inspection
of all panels, flush and gap. Ran Studies and trouble- shooting through engineering requests.
Cmm used, series 90 LK double column, with LK-Dmis-Version 5.6 software. Maintained
Cmm through monthly inspection and yearly calibration.
Torque Operations & Tooling. Set up & maintained all torque tooling through engineering
specs. Inlb, Ftlb and Newt meter torque sets for electric hand and multiple spindles - class A
Gse and Cooper tools. Used both software programs to set torque target, downshift speed,
threshold, self tap if necessary. Torques were monitored and recorded with PFS system for
engine and vehicle assemblies. Air and Impulse tools also set up and maintained along with
hand torque tools. All torque tooling is maintained on 10 week and yearly routes maintained
and recorded through Engage software.
 Calibration Lab. ISO 9000 Certified. All plant calibrations performed in & out of plant,
maintained time schedule. Weekly calibrations performed on torque transducers, audit
equipment Push Pedal brake tester. Fluid fills. All calibrations are maintained in Engage
software and certificates from calibration companies. 90 day audits are performed to ensure
Cal Lab is functioning properly to maintain ISO 9000 certification.
 Miscellaneous Responsibilities. On call while production is running for fixture or torque
break downs to repair or replace tools, to maintain production schedules. Work with
management and Logistics to process tool repairs and calibrated tools to come in and out of
plant. Work with contracted tool vendors for purchasing tools for plant.
