MAPEH 9 (PHYSICAL EDUCATION)
COURTEOUS / CAPABLE / CAREFUL
I. Objective:
At the end of the lesson the students will be able to;
1. know the components of skills-related components
2. understand the process of growth and development as participation in physical
activities has a positive relationship with it, and;
3. perform the skills-related components through motor skills and movement patterns
II. Subject Matter
A. Topic: Physical Fitness Test- Skills-Related Components
B. Reference: Physical Education and Health Learner’s Module For Grade 9
C. Material: Laptop, Crumpled paper, masking tape, ruler, hand-outs
D. Method/Strategy: Lecture/Multisensory Strategy
III. Procedure
A. Preparatory Activities
- Prayer
- Greetings
- Checking of attendance
- Checking for assignment
B. Review
- The Teacher will ask the students about the last activity performed.
- The Teacher will give points to the student who can share in the class.
C. Motivation
- The teacher will show something and let the student guess the name and explain
where to use the material.
D. Lesson Proper
- The Teacher will be going to discuss the components of skills-related fitness.
1. Coordination
2. Agility
3. Speed
4. Power
5. Balance
6. Reaction-time
E. Activity
- The Teacher will demonstrate the skills-related components and let the students
perform them.
- They will be given points for their performance
F. Generalization
- What are the components of skills-related fitness?
- How do you classify skills-related fitness and health-related fitness?
IV. Evaluation
- The teacher will evaluate the students based on their record of performance.
- Each activity they performed will be given points.
V. Assignment
- Have research about Officiating a game or sport.
