This document discusses how communication and technology will change over the next 10 years and beyond. It notes that by 2025, hardware will disappear and people will interact with devices and appliances using voice commands and biometrics. Verbal interaction will be common. It also warns that the growth of connected devices will cause disruption as existing standards and infrastructure will not be able to handle the large amount and diversity of devices. The document concludes by stating that a session will explore ways to make lasting communication by drawing from archaeology and science fiction, and how to apply those strategies to businesses.
