This document is a school project by Siddharth Singh on Fundamental Rights and Duties in India. It contains questions and answers on the topics. Fundamental rights include rights to equality, freedom, anti-exploitation, freedom of religion and culture. Fundamental duties are moral obligations of citizens to promote patriotism and national unity. These rights and duties are established in the Indian Constitution. There are 6 fundamental rights and originally 10 fundamental duties.

3. Q.1 Differentiate between
fundamental rights and duties.
ABOUT FUNDAMENTA RIGHTS-
The six fundamental rights include
the Right to Equality, Right to freedom,
Right against exploitation, Right to
freedom of Religion, Cultural and
Educational Rights and Right to
constitutional Remedies.

4. ABOUT FUNDATMENTAL DUTIES-
The Fundamental Duties are defined as the
moral obligations of all citizens to help
promote a spirit of patriotism and to
uphold the unity of India. These duties set
out in Part IV–A of the Constitution,
concern individuals and the nation.

5. Q.2 WHERE ARE THEY STATED.
ANS=These are mentioned
in Part III of the Indian
Constitution in articles
12-35. These are
mentioned in Part IV A of
the Indian Constitution in
the article 51A. They
were taken from the
Constitution of the USA.

6. Q.3 Why are they framed
ANS. The purpose of the
Fundamental Rights is to preserve
individual liberty and democratic
principles based on equality of all
members of society. Dr. Ambedkar
said that the responsibility of the
legislature is not just to provide
fundamental rights but also and
rather, more importantly, to
safeguard them.

ANS. The 11-member
committee, led by Motilal
Nehru, was constituted in
1928. Its report made a
number of recommendations,
including proposing
guaranteed fundamental
rights to all Indians.

rights and duties are there.
Ans. It consists of various rights
as well as duties which are
mandatory for the citizens of
India. Being an inseparable part of
our constitution, fundamental
rights and duties are very well
explained in it. There are 6
fundamental rights as well as 11
fundamental duties

fundamental duties
Ans. The concept of Fundamental dutieswas taken from the USSR.
The Fundamental duties are essentially taken fromthe Indian
tradition, mythology, religions and practices. Essentially these were
the dutiesthat arethe codification of tasks integral to the Indian
way of life. Originally ten fundamental duties were listed.

10. Q.7 How will you ensure the
implement of fundamental duties in
your school and the surroundings?
ANS. We can follow these duties on
school premises by doing very simple
things like respecting any constitution,
respecting the national anthem, national
flag, and by promoting peace and
goodwill among other students.

11. Q.8 What activity/ task of the
project did you enjoy the most .
Why?
ANS. I enjoyed to learn about
fundamental rights , previously I was
intrested about CIVICS topics
because I always enjoy them. I am
fully intrested in these topics these
topics are important as we should
know our country rights and which
duties we should follow I am very
happy as our respected Sharmila
Vora ma’am has given such a
wonderful topic.
