In this chapter, we won’t try to prove that trade is good for growth and that liberalisation is good for trade, so liberalisation is always good for growth whatever the circumstances. But we will demonstrate that an open trade policy is more likely to contribute to economic growth than alternative policies. We’ll start by looking at the different factors that contribute to economic growth and how trade affects them, and then we’ll look at the relationship between trade and R&D, trade and the diffusion of new technologies, and trade and investment.

Television has many different affects on the economy in both positive and negative ways. One of the biggest effects television has on the economy is advertisement. More and more people turn to television for advertisement. Advertisement has a huge impact and effect on viewers. After watching an advertisement on television people are heading to the store, looking on the internet, or trying to purchase the product. It only takes a few seconds to convince someone that the product, good or service they are advertising is worth buying and bam people purchase it. Television is unique because it allows people to see the product that is being advertised. A Study on Brand Communication in Bangladesh Social Media.Tawhid Rahman
In today’s competitive business world, no business can survive without proper branding. Branding is therefore important to every business regardless of the size, because it helps distinguish a business from its competitors. As a key component of branding, brand communication determines whether a brand is successfully established and eventually turns a profit. Since brand communication is not free of cost, it is really hard for enterprises, especially Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) of Bangladesh to carry out a successful brand communication program through traditional marketing activities, which include television advertising, radio, bill-boards, newspaper etc. However, social media has evolved over the last few years to become the most affordable springboard for brand communication through engaging customers in innovative ways and making them true stakeholders in the value-creation process. Attracted by its potential to drive sales opportunities and to enhance customer engagement, companies of Bangladesh are also coming forward to embrace the full prospects of social media. This paper attempted to explore the present status, problems and prospects of brand communication through social media in the context of Bangladesh market.
This study is exploratory in nature. Duel analysis methods have been used in this research. The first one is qualitative analysis; secondary data are used from different sources to explore an overview of social media usage in Bangladesh. Furthermore, two different survey were conducted among consumers and marketers, with the aim of investigating customers’ motivation and marketers approach for using social media as a channel brand communication in Bangladesh. Finally, descriptive analysis has been done to interpret the data in order to answer all the research questions.
There is no universal communication strategy suitable for all companies, but the appropriate one may be build according to the company goals and means. Process of creating the communication strategy should focus on several targets which companies may identify by themselves or with the help of guides. One of those targets is identifying appropriate ways of engaging with the customers with the combination of Brand Awareness, Brand Engagement and Word-of-Mouth. Nowadays social media especially facebook is becoming a great tool for B2C brand communication. Recent booming of internet uses in Bangladesh enhancing this opportunity for all size of companies. They can enjoy the benefit of social media brand communication with a cost-effective way if they overcome the current challenges.

Enterprise Excellence is Inclusive Excellence.pdfKaiNexus
Enterprise excellence and inclusive excellence are closely linked, and real-world challenges have shown that both are essential to the success of any organization. To achieve enterprise excellence, organizations must focus on improving their operations and processes while creating an inclusive environment that engages everyone. In this interactive session, the facilitator will highlight commonly established business practices and how they limit our ability to engage everyone every day. More importantly, though, participants will likely gain increased awareness of what we can do differently to maximize enterprise excellence through deliberate inclusion.
What is Enterprise Excellence?
Enterprise Excellence is a holistic approach that's aimed at achieving world-class performance across all aspects of the organization.
What might I learn?
A way to engage all in creating Inclusive Excellence. Lessons from the US military and their parallels to the story of Harry Potter. How belt systems and CI teams can destroy inclusive practices. How leadership language invites people to the party. There are three things leaders can do to engage everyone every day: maximizing psychological safety to create environments where folks learn, contribute, and challenge the status quo.
Who might benefit? Anyone and everyone leading folks from the shop floor to top floor.

Memorandum Of Association Constitution of Company.pptseri bangash
www.seribangash.com
A Memorandum of Association (MOA) is a legal document that outlines the fundamental principles and objectives upon which a company operates. It serves as the company's charter or constitution and defines the scope of its activities. Here's a detailed note on the MOA:
Contents of Memorandum of Association:
Name Clause: This clause states the name of the company, which should end with words like "Limited" or "Ltd." for a public limited company and "Private Limited" or "Pvt. Ltd." for a private limited company.
https://seribangash.com/article-of-association-is-legal-doc-of-company/
Registered Office Clause: It specifies the location where the company's registered office is situated. This office is where all official communications and notices are sent.
Objective Clause: This clause delineates the main objectives for which the company is formed. It's important to define these objectives clearly, as the company cannot undertake activities beyond those mentioned in this clause.
www.seribangash.com
Liability Clause: It outlines the extent of liability of the company's members. In the case of companies limited by shares, the liability of members is limited to the amount unpaid on their shares. For companies limited by guarantee, members' liability is limited to the amount they undertake to contribute if the company is wound up.
https://seribangash.com/promotors-is-person-conceived-formation-company/
Capital Clause: This clause specifies the authorized capital of the company, i.e., the maximum amount of share capital the company is authorized to issue. It also mentions the division of this capital into shares and their respective nominal value.
Association Clause: It simply states that the subscribers wish to form a company and agree to become members of it, in accordance with the terms of the MOA.
Importance of Memorandum of Association:
Legal Requirement: The MOA is a legal requirement for the formation of a company. It must be filed with the Registrar of Companies during the incorporation process.
Constitutional Document: It serves as the company's constitutional document, defining its scope, powers, and limitations.
Protection of Members: It protects the interests of the company's members by clearly defining the objectives and limiting their liability.
External Communication: It provides clarity to external parties, such as investors, creditors, and regulatory authorities, regarding the company's objectives and powers.
https://seribangash.com/difference-public-and-private-company-law/
Binding Authority: The company and its members are bound by the provisions of the MOA. Any action taken beyond its scope may be considered ultra vires (beyond the powers) of the company and therefore void.
Amendment of MOA:
While the MOA lays down the company's fundamental principles, it is not entirely immutable. It can be amended, but only under specific circumstances and in compliance with legal procedures. Amendments typically require shareholder
2. Mohammad Tawhidur Rahman P-2
Question # 2 : Classical trade policies demonstrate that free trade will
benefit us, but infant industry theory and strategy trade
policy theory tell us we must have some protection of our
market and industries on the other side. In your opinion,
do you agree with or against free trade? Why?
Answer # 2 :
Globalization is a phenomenon that has become overtly visible around the world
within the last 20 years. Globalization means worldwide economic, political, technological
and cultural integration, a sharing of ideas, opinions and practices, greater freedom of
movement and the diminution of national borders.
The beginning of liberalization inspired countries to relax trade barriers which
enhanced global conversations regarding free trade and the environment as well as
increasing the spread of information and communication technologies. This directly
affected the development of cheap and effective production methods which have had a
dramatic effect on many companies and organizations. Consequently, it has given them
the opportunity to access many resources.
As a result of globalization, relations between companies grew in terms of sharing
production techniques, applied organizational models and the implementation of
employment policies. In this regard, different geographies and different production areas
of global companies along with their unique organization, philosophies and cultures come
together, and with synergy, create free trade relation, create a better world.
That is why I do agree with Classical trade policies, which demonstrate that free
trade will benefit us. Free trade is a win-win proposition because it enables nations to focus
on their core competitive advantages. The unrestricted purchase and sale of goods and
services between countries without the imposition of constraints such as tariffs, duties
and quotas, thereby maximizing economic output and fostering income growth for their
citizens.
Formerly insular economies such as China and India have expanded at much
faster growth rates since they adopted free trade principles in the 1980s and 1990s,
respectively. Free trade enables nations to concentrate their efforts on manufacturing
products or providing services where they have a distinct comparative advantage,
according to the theory first espoused by economist David Ricardo two centuries ago. A
free trade policy should enable a nation to generate enough foreign currency to purchase
the products or services that it does not produce indigenously. The process works best
when there are few if any barriers to entry for such imports. The imposition of artificial
constraints such as tariffs on imports or the provision of subsidies to exports will
introduce distortions and impede free trade.
Free trade encompasses many practices and theories. The most common
application of free trade is the reduction or removal of commercial barriers between
countries. This allows a freer flow of labor and goods between member countries in a trade
pact. As free trade agreements become more common around the globe, the positive impact
3. Mohammad Tawhidur Rahman P-3
on developing countries has been touted as one of their greatest successes. There are
several advantages to developing countries that participate in free trade:
Higher Employment Rates: As developed countries are able to move their
operations into developing countries, new job opportunities open up for local
workers. Increased levels of employment lead to a higher standard of living and
more consumers purchasing. This ultimately sparks the country's economy and may
help to develop locally owned business.
Less Child Labor: Child labor occurs in developing countries for many reasons but
one of the main reasons is lack of technology. Children are used as a cheap
substitute for manufacturing equipment. Free trade allows companies to invest in
equipment and pay higher wages to adult workers through foreign investment. With
higher family incomes, children are able to attend school rather than work.
Access to New Markets: Not only does free trade allow foreign-owned companies
to establish themselves in developing countries, it also allows native companies to
sell to foreign markets. This expands their customer base and leads to new products
and services and the viability of investing in innovation. This is particularly true for
small businesses in developing countries. These companies no longer have to worry
about absorbing the costs of tariffs and other barriers to market entry and can sell
their products freely.
Higher Levels of Investment Capital: Most free trade agreements also reduce
restrictions on foreign investment. With new capital entering a developing country,
it begins an upward productivity cycle that stimulates the entire economy. An
inflow of foreign capital can also stimulate the banking system, leading to more
investment and consumer lending.
Increased Life Expectancy: An increase in employment levels, incomes, and the
general standard of living alleviates hunger and lack of medical care in developing
countries. Preventative medical care including checkups and vaccinations are
available to more of the population. It also increases the number of children who
are educated and attend school regularly. The ultimate result is an increase in the
average life span and a reduction in infant deaths.
The Industrial Revolution brought freedom of movement and increased opportunity
to all economic levels of society. It also set the stage for social and democratic progress
of a magnitude that would have been impossible earlier. And although history suggests
that this new era of market globalization may well be accompanied by new problems
for which the solutions once again will lie in the power of human ingenuity and
innovation, it also presents an unprecedented level of opportunity for people to achieve
economic freedom and greater prosperity.
