Misty Roberts decided to go to college to study General Studies and then Social Work after working at a youth shelter. She initially struggled in college, failing classes and taking time off before committing to Social Work. Throughout her courses, she gained self-awareness and improved her ability to accept responsibility through reflections and lessons on goal-setting, communication, and life purpose. Her scores on self-assessments increased in areas like responsibility and self-motivation by the end of the semester. Her goal is to earn a Social Work degree and work as a CPS case worker to help families and protect children.
