COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT: I loved doing this assignment because it really taught
me how to serve others. I was not excited for this assignment at all, but once I did it I
actually really enjoyed myself. Doing good for others is a huge eyeopener.
VIDEO TO NEXT CLASS: I enjoyed doing this assignment because it was something out of
the box and fun! It showed me how far I have come throughout this semester. I realized the
changes that I have made.
SCAVANGER HUNT: This was fun to do and was very helpful! I learned a lot about Grayson
that I would not have known. I now know more of what Grayson has to offer.
JOURNAL ENTERY 11: I loved doing this journal! It was my favorite because I was
able to use my imagination so much. It gave a clear look into what I wanted for my
future and it was so exciting!
JOURNAL ENTERY 23: I enjoyed this journal because I really had to dig deep to
get my answers. This was one of the harder journals for me, but it was a good
challenge. I was able to explore what I was bad at and how I could improve it.
JOURNAL ENTERY 17: This was also a good journal because I learned all about my
obstacle. I learned what obstacles that were outer and what obstacles were inner. I
figured out how to overcome these obstacles.
I really liked module six because that was the
module we were able to turn in our service learning
project. I had been waiting for a while to be able to
turn that assignment in and I was so excited to do
that! I really learned so much more than I thought I
would from volunteering and I was excited to share
that with someone else!
1. RESPONSIBILITY: The first lesson I would take from this course is responsibility!
Before this class, I was not the best student. Yes I made good grades, but I was
not doing as good as I could have been doing. I learned to take responsibility
and my future into my own hands.
2. COURAGE: I gained courage and now I am able to actual speak up to a teacher if
I have an issue with something. When the semester first started, I did not want to
even talk to my professors because I did not want to sound silly. Now, I feel like I
can talk openly with any professor.
3. SEEING THE LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL: I know look at what my
future will be like instead of hating what I am doing now. I have learned that
everything that I am doing now is for my future. Every time I feel annoyed with
school, I just look at my future career.
My first time taking the assessment, my total score was 556.
The second time I took it, it was 645. It did go up and I was
excited about that! I just think that I believe in myself more
now and I am more confident to answer those questions. I
really enjoyed seeing my scores go up.
If I accomplished all of my goals, I would be graduated college with a
Business Degree and working in an office somewhere. I would be a
wife, mom, and a great business woman. I would be working in a
bank or professional office doing some kind of human resources and
working with people. I would want to be the top of the Human
Resource Department and helping people with their problems. I
would have great workers with me and a fabulous boss that would
help mentor me until I am able to take care of all of the top
responsibilities on my own.
