Transportation related recommendations (partial listing):

and extension of light, medium and heavy-duty credits and incentives.
Includes medium and heavy duty zero emission vehicles, transit and

Transportation related recommendations (partial listing):
• Transit – Support the transition to zero emissions public transit solutions –
construction for active transportation infrastructure, such as dedicated
shared mobility lanes.
• Workforce: Encourage skilled and trained workforce requirements including
certified electricians and training. Utilize community colleges to train
additional workforce. Priorities for firms owned or led by women and
people of color and labor apprenticeship programs.
• Federal Programs – increase funding for DERA and enable electrification
to be on the same playing field as diesel fossil buses, increase funding for
Low or No Emission Vehicle Program – Extend 30D vehicle tax credit and
30C increase eligible cost cap.

• State Programs – Increase funding for Clean Cities for EV pilot and demonstration projects.
increase investments for charging corridors such as the West Coast Electric Highway
connecting California, Oregon, Washington and British Columbia to support both urban and
rural communities. Ensure charging is available to those who do not have access to a garage
or driveway.
