He discussed the concept of quality improvement, emphasizing its applicability to various aspects of life, including personal, project, and program improvements. He defined quality as doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to achieve the best possible results and discussed the concept of the "gap" between what we know and what we do, and how this gap represents the areas we need to improve. He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.
We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

I walked along the busiest street in my town on my way home from school every day.
Yesterday was no different from any other day. In town, I noticed the usual lunch crowd returning
to their offices after their quick lunch at stalls, cafes and restaurants. They were either in groups
walking along or in their cars caught in a traffic jam.
I saw a group of young office girls, all dressed-up smartly, chatting and laughing as they
came out from a restaurant. They were wearing stylish clothes and their faces were beautifully
made-up. Some of them stopped at a roadside stall to buy freshly-cut local fruits such as papayas
and pineapples. Then, I reached the suburb. As I was passing a shopping mall, I saw housewives
and their children with loads of parcels, coming out of the building to get a taxi home. Some
people walking towards the LRT station nearby to either get their cars or to catch the next train
home.
In my residential area, I saw a group of young schoolchildren surrounding a stall selling
ice-cream. The children were happily eating their ice-cream of various flavours and colours while
their guardians stood nearby to watch over them.
Next, I passed by a stall selling durians piled high by the roadside. There were people
choosing their durians and bargaining for a good price. The fruit vendor did not seem interested in
entertaining them. Soon, I was walking on a quiet road leading to my house. It was home sweet
home!

Save the Earth!
It is important for everyone to learn the different ways to take care of the environment. Here are four
methods to protect the Earth.
We should learn to conserve wildlife as they are important to us and to the ecosystem. Everyone must
work together to protect the animals, birds, insects and plants in the jungles, as well as the coral reefs
and marine life in the sea. All these living things are interconnected and form close relationships that
bring benefits to one another.
Reduce, reuse and recycle should be the motto for today's generation. To reduce means to buy and
use less, be it things or energy. Cut down on our electricity and water use. Do not throw away things that
are still usable. Donate or think of ways they can be reused. Take recyclable materials such as paper,
plastic and glass products to recycling centres.
We use a lot of natural resources to fulfil our needs and wants. Some of these natural resources
cannot be renewed, such as coal and oil, and are fast depleting. So, we should look out for new and less
damaging ways to fulfil our needs. For example, we should start using renewable resources such as wind
energy that is tapped from the wind farms, hydro-electric power from the dams and solar energy from
the sun.
It is important to take action. Everyone must do his or her part to protect Mother Nature. Some
people stop eating shark's fin because killing sharks just for the fins is a cruel act. Some choose to
carpool or cycle to work to reduce the production of greenhouse gases. There are others who only use
products that are environmentally-friendly to prevent pollution. Every little bit matters.

AEDES MOSQUITOES
Dengue and Zika fever are spread by the Aedes mosquitoes. Keeping
mosquitoes at bay is not a difficult task. What you have to do is to keep a close eye on places inside and
outside your home where the mosquito may lay eggs and breed.
Mosquitoes like to breed in stagnant water. So, you should clean clogged drains
as often as possible.
Since mosquitoes breed in clear, stagnant water, make sure there are no empty and uncovered
containers lying around the compounds of your house.
Also, make sure there is no water in the flowerpot plates. If you keep plants
and flowers in vases, remember to change the water every two days to prevent mosquitoes from laying
eggs inside them.
Another safety precaution is to use insect repellent that contain diethytoluamide, or DEET.
You may wear long-sleeved shirts and long pants as another precautionary
step.Sometimes you need to store water due to water cut or rationing. It can prevent
Aedes mosquitoes from breeding in the water. The other alternative is to cover all the containers
that you use to store water with.
Be proactive and stop Aedes mosquitoes from spreading. Kill Aedes
mosquitoes before they kill you.
