Dr. Samuel M. Theagene, medical director at Central Park Physical Medicine, has given back to the community through multiple child-focused charity organizations. In addition to his work as an M.D., Dr. Samuel Theagene supports Food for Orphans, which provides low-cost meals to bereaved children around the world.

2.  Dr. Samuel M. Theagene, medical director at Central
Park Physical Medicine, has given back to the
community through multiple child-focused charity
organizations. In addition to his work as an M.D., Dr.
Samuel Theagene supports Food for Orphans, which
provides low-cost meals to bereaved children around
the world.
In 2016, Food for Orphans performed strongly, giving
more than 700,000 meals to orphans over the course
of the year. The organization fell short of its goal of one
million and two meals, but still performed highly. The
group shipped packets of food internationally, including
high-need areas like Haiti.

3.  After the hurricane in Haiti, food need was significant,
and Food for Orphans was ready to provide hundreds
of thousands of meals during this trying time.
Food for Orphans also supplied other forms of aid
through its partnerships with orphanages. In addition to
nourishment, the organization provided Christmas gifts
for children rescued from human trafficking in the
Dominican Republic. Thanks to donor support,
initiatives like these have been able to touch far-
reaching areas of the globe, including nations in Asia,
Africa, and both Americas.
