foodshelvestoimprove healthyfoodaccess. The GardenGleaningProjectishousedatThe Minnesota
Project,butthe projectisalso guidedbyEmergencyFoodshelf Network,MinnesotaFoodshare,
HennepinCountyHumanPublicHealthDepartmentandour7 partnerfoodshelves.Eachfoodshelf is
beingsupportedbyaNeighborhoodCoordinatorthatworkstobuildrelationshipsintheircommunities
betweentheirfoodshelf andnearbycommunityandhome gardeners.Since2011, the program has
deliverednearly80,000 poundsof freshfruitsandvegetablestoourpartner foodshelves.
