This document describes a student project to implement a fog effect on a 3D car model using OpenGL. The project introduces fog effects in graphics rendering and describes designing the project using OpenGL functions for 3D transformations and fog. It provides screenshots demonstrating the fog effect before and after its implementation. The conclusion discusses enhancing the project with mouse interface and animation in the future.

• Project demonstrates ‘IMPLEMENTATION
OF FOG EFFECT’ , built as an openGL
program.

4. INTRODUCTION
• Evolution of graphics systems capable of
generating sophisticated images in real
time, have led to implement of fog effect
on car
• In this project we have implemented 3d
transformation and fog effect by using
realistic controls.

5. DESIGN OF PROJECT
• We build the project with help of the graphics
functions which are already defined.
• In this project we mainly concentrate on
fog effect on car and transformation along the
respective x,y, and z axis.
• For the interaction we use keyboard function
and mouse function.

12. CONCLUSION
• With the help of OpenGL graphics package we
have developed the educational package.
• The interface can also be provided with key
board, it can be developed with mouse
interface since most of the packages to day
are mouse interfaced and it is easy to work
with mouse than keyboard.
• In future this can be enhanced to give an
animated version of demonstration
