This type of game style is usually found in
dungeon crawlers or RPG games. This is
the format for these because it gives you a
very simple view of the game as it is going
on and it also allows you to move from one
room to another without getting lost
easily.
These games can involve
“seeds” which will ensure
that each time you play the
game you will get a
different experience.

This art style is commonly used by
indie developers or in games which
were created in the late 20th
century. That is because it allows
the developers to focus more on
the gameplay; instead of how the
game looks as the art style is
simple to create but also appeals
to a wide audience.
5. What can be learned
From this I have learned that for the style of game that we are creating. The
art style is very simple to create as it all is just formed by a few pixels.
However, it can also convey ideas that the art design is trying to show very
well and it also appeals to most audiences.
The isometric view is also a very good idea. This is because it allows the art to
be simplistic as the camera is only ever showing one side of the object making
all of the images 2D. However some art choices can make the game look 3D.
