Get your clips in order Download your files to iPhoto  FLIP media shows up like a volume on the Mac desktop Look in the Flip’s DCIM folder for your video Drag your file into iPhoto Click on your file in iPhoto to preview We will NOT use Flip software since iMovie works waaaaaaaay better with maaaaanny more options for exporting!
Edit in iMovie Open iMovie Name your new project as your first name Look at your iPhoto video files and you will see your clip there Select your video and pull into your project Get rid of hiccups, pauses, blank space, etc.from your video  Check for volume and increase if necessary Make a centered title slide over “star background”: My Hero: Name
Share out to the desktop Go to SHARE menu>Export using Quicktime>Movie to Quicktime Movie, default settings This  .mov  file is what can be uploaded to a web hosting sites like YouTube. For our purposes they will be collected on thumb drives to be strung together as one video for a collaborative project.
