presentation of traits in humans in general and in certain populations to determine if
individuals of particular ethnicity are more likely to present with one phenotype of
the other. It is understood that attached earlobes are the dominant phenotype and
detached earlobes are the recessive phenotype, however there is some controversy
regarding this distinction, as suggested by McDonald (2011), who points out that
CarriГЁre and Hilden were among the first to study the genetics of earlobes, and they

is a good man and has a good heart, but he soon commits a crime that will forever
change his life. Raskolnikov is a good man; I believe he is kind, generous, and
selfless. Now, how are all of these positive traits found in a murderer? I think was
caught in a psychotic moment, his mental state was not all there, and he had a
dream, he made a plan, and he committed this terrible crime. A good example of
Raskolnikov being a kind hearted person, and selfless is when he sees a young girl
at the end of the street, he sees by her a rough looking man staring at her. He starts
to get very worried what this man might do to this young girl. He goes down the
street to get this young girl, and he pays for a taxi to get her home. This was so

Personal Narrative Matthew
When I woke up this morning, I could tell things had changed, the most obvious
one was that I wasn t even in my bedroom, I looked around my surroundings. The
room was a fairly basic hotel room, bathroom, door, windows, strangely enough
though, no television or phone. I look to the nightstand on my left and I notice
there is a card with my name on it: Matthew. I was hesitant to open it, I had so
many questions probably the most obvious one was how did I get here? Probably
the second one was where am I? Ya know, those little details might help a bit. I got
up to go to the window, I had my pajamas still, they were just made of a simple
plaid design with a plain white t shirt, they were not the most fancy pair of pajamas,
but they were my favorite.

The World On The Terrorism
When looking at the terrorism that ISIS has endued it has become very evident that
a solution needs to be drawn into action. In my opinion the only way to take down
this organization is to begin to treat it like the state that it is. A state is defined as: a
nation or territory considered as an organized political community under one
government. ISIS has not only gained territory in Syria, Iraq and Istanbul but
according to New York Times columnist, Tim Arango, ISIS is building a capacity to
govern. In 2014, ISIS formally informed the world on their establishment of a
caliphate. This caliphate is governed under Islamic beliefs and rulers. They have
begun issuing identification cards for residents, promulgating fishing guidelines to
preserve stocks, and requiring that cars carry tool kits for emergencies (Arango).
Believe it or not, ISIS has been a state for two years, regardless of their lack of
legitimacy, their consistent threat of violence against any of those who oppose their
beliefs allows them not only to get things done, but get them done efficiently.
Whether we want to accept it, ISIS is a state, and we need to treat it as such.
On the 29th of June in 2014, ISIS announced that a caliphate has been establish and
the caliph was to be Caliph Ibrahim. The saying goes, In order to kill a snake, one
