1.To give students knowledge about the correct usage of English with an emphasis on reading skills
in order to be able to study effectively and think logically.
2.To practice writing skills at the sentence and paragraph levels with correct grammatical structures.
3.To practice listening and speaking skills so as to be able to communicate in daily situations
effectively.
4.To enable students to acquire enough English skills to further their students at advanced levels.
5.To help students understand the cultures, traditions and general knowledge of native English
speakers.
