This document provides information about the parts and format of an English exam. It includes 5 parts: writing, reading, speaking, listening, and use of English. Formal letter
- Don’t use contractions.
- Formal register.
- At the end you can use phrases like: «I’m looking forward to

Informal letter
- You can use contractions.
- You can use phrases like: «How are you» «I haven’t seen you
for ages».
- At the end you can use phrases like: «Hope to hear from you
soon» «Love», ect.

4. Emails
- Semiformal
- Start with Dear and end with Kind regards.
Story
- There is a phrase at the beginning or at the end and you have
to use it in your story.
- You must use adjectives descriptive adjectives and adverbs.
Essay
- Don’t forget to use the Introduction, Development and
Conclusions with your own opinion.
- You must use descriptive adjectives and adverbs.
WRITING

5. Article
- You must use titles and subtitles like a magazine article.
Review
- Personal opinion according to a book, movie, blog, etc.
- Give your opinion and recomendation.
- Semi formal
