Bandaging is used to support fractured bones, immobilize dislocated joints, apply pressure to stop bleeding, secure dressings, and retain splints. A triangular bandage has three sides and can be folded into different shapes like a cravat for bandaging purposes such as dressing foot injuries. Safety should always be the top priority when providing first aid.
