Final shots
This is my front cover image, I have used this picture
as it is a mid-shot of the model and the angle of gaze
is towards the audience. The model in this image is
also holding a text book, which shows that the image
is school related. The text book has GCSE written on it,
so this shows how the model may be a student who is
studying her GCSE’s, this helps relate to my target
audience as I am aiming towards students who are
studying for their GCSE finals. The background of this
picture is also slightly blurred so the focus is more on
the model more so than the background. By having
the picture taken outside you can see some of the
school grounds, this helps showing it is a school
magazine.
I really like what the model is wearing here, the only
colour she is wearing is the pink in her scarf this
allows me to use this to my advantage as I can use this
colour to be part of my continuous colour scheme.
This is a shot of the model in a classroom in
front of a computer, the angle of glaze is
towards the camera, the model is also
smiling, I wanted the model to smile as it
makes it look like she is happy being at
school. This shot shows how she is doing
some work, this helps to show to readers
that it is a school magazine. There is
another computer next to her and the walls
of the room show that the model is in a
classroom, as there are other pieces of work
on the walls.
This is an over the shoulder shot
of a student holding looking at a
textbook. The setting of the
picture is in the sixth form
common room, I wanted to use
this image in my magazine
because I haven't used this
camera angle, also because I
wanted the models to look like
they are reading a lot to show
that the magazine concentrates a
lot on studying and being
academic.
This shot is of two models studying on
a table in the sixth form common
room. The two models are dressed as
students. There are different resources
and school equipments scattered on
the table such as a textbook and
calculator. This image is meant to look
natural and calm, showing how school
is not always stressful. One of the
models look cheerful, I wanted the
scene to look comfortable and relaxed.
In this shot there is a model walking up
the stairs, I wanted to have the picture
taken outside as you are able to see the
school grounds, showing that this is an
image for a school magazine. The
model is dressed to be a student and is
holding some school books, which also
represents that she is a student. I
wanted to use this image because it
shows students walking around to
lessons, so it gives the overall feel of a
school vibe.
