2. What have I learned since the
midterm?
• In chapter 5 I learned the right
way to effectively write a title for
a email or letter and also how to
know what my audience is when
writing a proposal.
• Chapter 8 helped me learn a lot
about conducting meetings and
presentations. Since I want to go
into real estate, learning the
right way to conduct meetings
will help me get my point across
to future landlords.

3. Learned since the midterm,
continued..
• Chapter 2 showed me the importance to not
write stuff on social media about my job or
coworkers because any one can see what I
post and can cause conflict in the workplace
which is not needed.

4. How did I learn it?
• I learned to effectively write a
proposal from assignment WA4,
it taught me how to come up
with an idea and to be able to
express my idea to my target
audience and to show what my
idea was and how it could
benefit FGCU as a whole.
• I learned the information on
social media and how you
shouldn’t write things about
work on your personal social
media accounts by reading the
section in The Business Writer’s
Companion.

5. Why does this learning
matter/significant?
• Learning how to conduct a
meeting and presentation will
help me with real estate. It will
help me because I will be able to
present to landlords or tenants of
the houses I manage and be able
to be able to talk and keep track
of the meeting by using ‘minutes’.
• Another thing I learned is how to
write a proposal that gets my
point across. This will help me if I
cant meet a landlord face to face,
and ill be able to write a proposal
that will get my point across and
why it will benefit the landlord.

6. How will this learning help in future
classes or future career?
• The sections I learned will
benefit me in real estate in
many ways. The most
important would be to be
able to communicate to
people through meetings
and presentations that I've
made as well as writing
proposals for future
landlords and employees.
• I will try to improve myself
by critiquing my proposals
and to make sure I don’t
have any nonsense errors
that could've been avoided.
