  6. This covers the smartness of the Alibaba business network, which can be classified as smart because it has the ability to quickly connect and disconnect and the ability to plug and play. The dynamic structure of the network also contributes to its smartness. Smartness can also be seen as a relative characteristic because a smart network is smarter than others. As said before, when compared with other networks, Alibaba.com stands out in terms of network orchestration, its integration in many different industries, its high market share and elaborate information and negotiation facilities. However no evidence of embedded business logic was found, so it does not meet all the requirements to be classified as a smart business network.
