We storyboarded our opening sequence and assigned roles, then prepared props and secured a quiet exterior shooting location at Spencer's house. - 1. Filming and Shooting Times. This was our schedule for filming, I have included one of the days of our old filming schedule as we are using certain shots from that day of filming, and the rest was our second time of shooting the second thriller opening. 12th November 2014 Plans: Film day shots of the thriller film. What Happened: We all met and had filmed for 2 hours to get a variety of footage, one of the pieces of footage we will be using is the far bridge shot. The rest of the footage that we had filmed we were not able to use as it wasn’t up to the standard and we had felt as though it didn’t fit our thriller. It was clear we had needed more shots for our thriller opening. Between the 12th November and 20th December: What Happened: During the course of the 12th November and the 20th December we had filmed more shots of footage, however was told we had to change our storyline to get the best achieving grade as possible. Therefore we change our original idea and come up with a new story line, which then we had later went out to film over the Christmas holidays. 20th December 2014 Plan: Film various night shots that went with our new story line, estimated time 2 hours. What Happened: I and Shannon had met to film a selection of the night shots that we had felt would look appropriate for our thriller, we mainly shot scenes of the search party as we felt that was all we had needed, and we had filmed this in 1hr and 30 minutes. As we had filmed all of the night shots in a reasonably quick time we had then also recorded some sound effects of a gate opening and closing which had made a squeaky eerie sound, this fitted with our thriller therefore we would like to incorporate into our thriller opening. We had managed to finish filming all the shots needed. As we had achieved the night shots we could then focus on our day shots on the next day of filming. 22nd December 2014 Plan: Film day shots of the young girl in the forest, estimated time 2 and a half hours. What Happened: Myself and Shannon had went out to film the day shots of our thriller opening, we had decided that a forest location was best and filmed a variety of shots of the character of the young girl (which was played by me), the trip of filming was successful and we had managed to get some really good shots that we decided to include in our thriller opening. This was all completed in the time span of 1 hour and 45 minutes, which is excellent considering we had estimated that we would have been filming for a longer time. 4th January 2015 Plan: Film Filler shots. What Happened: Myself, Oliver and Shannon had met and filmed the last remaining shots we needed, for example the shots we had recorded were mainly filler shots that we had felt had corresponded well with our thriller.
