2. What I have learned so far.
 Looking through the different types of posters for I have
noticed that they usually design these posters to capture
you inner imagination so the graphic designers go for a
number of different themes when they create these
posters.
 I have learned the conventions and the layout of posters
and magazines.

3. Genres
 Depending on the genre of the film I think there a number
of themes that you need to include when creating your
film. I have looked at a number of genres and I found what
the common themes are for Comedy, Horrors and Action
movies.

4. Comedies
 Comedies, one of the most common themes is that they
have ironic poses to suggest that there is chaos that is
going to happen in this film and gives the message “it
wasn’t my fault”. Another common theme that I found is
that they have very obvious contrasts in the 2 or more
main characters in them to make it look they shouldn’t be
together.

5. Horrors
Horrors are quite easy to identify and categorize what type they are simply by the poster.
When you look at a horror poster the main theme is darkness and holes, I think this
because both those themes represent death and no return, which is what you, want
when you go watch one of these films.The second theme is faces; this is a really
common theme which I have seen a thousand times before.To me this reminds me of
screaming and or seeing something that we as the consumer cant see which creates
mystery.

6. Action
 The final genre that I noticed had a lot of similarities
between them is Action films. A really common theme is
black and white with fire in the middle.This gives me an
instant feeling of carnage and ciaos.
