just from this one image we can already see that she is a strong
character and is determined, judging by her facial expressions. The
audience can already see that she is not a ‘girly girl’ character because
she is wearing dark colours, she is carrying a bow and arrow which
suggests that she has experience with this weapon and her hair is pulled
out of her face, this could mean that she is about to participate in
something serious. This character may show an appeal to teenage girls
because they are used to seeing strong and courageous male
characters, whereas this film is instead a female with the same qualities
as a typical male hero. The logo for the film, the Mockingjay pin, is
featured in this picture as it is something that she is given and wears on
her uniform throughout all of the films. Her clothing also isn’t girly which
reflects her characters personality.
