On a personal level, Isak was a delightful student to teach who never became disheartened by the workload and was popular among his classmates. Isak also found great success in Model United Nations at his school, where he displayed an inquiring mind and remarkable ability to learn despite little prior experience with debating. He went on to found his own debating society in Norway and continued participating in international Model UN conferences
