Giorgio Armani is the second most powerful fashion designer behind Ralph Lauren. Armani was born in Italy in 1934 and worked as a window dresser and designer before founding his own label in 1975. Armani's minimalist style became popular in the 1980s, when he designed costumes for movies like American Gigolo. By the 1990s, Armani had a global empire of high-end fashion lines as well as more affordable diffusion lines like Emporio Armani. He is renowned for his tailored suits and understanding of how to make women feel confident and sexy.

The brand architecture includes ultra-premium Giorgio Armani lines to more contemporary and trendy diffusion brands at various price points to attract different age groups while maintaining the luxury quality associated with Armani.
This document proposes a new retail concept for Giorgio Armani fragrances called the Armani pavilion. The concept aims to provide differentiation, brand engagement, and a luxurious experience through individual product displays in a structured grid layout inspired by Armani's Milan architecture. Each pavilion would feature a metal structure divided into rhombuses holding mirrored boxes displaying a single perfume product along with descriptive information. The goal is to make each product the focus and connect customers to the luxury of the Armani brand through an elegant, sophisticated and engaging in-store experience.
The document discusses the luxury industry in India. It defines luxury as going beyond material goods to include experiences of time, comfort and quality. Luxury brands are associated with rarity, quality, history and emotion. While sometimes seen as decadent, luxury need not be vulgar but can be a pursuit of excellence. Major luxury brands and conglomerates operating in India are discussed along with the opportunities and challenges of the luxury industry in India.
A fun way to learn and apply Brand Management and Licensing practices in the Luxury and Fashion industries via the university classroom and corporate seminar.

Marketing luxury is a paradox. Luxury defies econometric models. Though the processes by which consumers acquire and consume luxury remain an enigma, luxury brand names and products are highly visible in the marketplace. This slide deck empirically explores the luxury sector, the status of international luxury brands, and how luxury is branded and sold to consumers.

Zappos, anziché blindare i social network, invita i dipendenti a twittare liberamente.
Chi, almeno in vacanza, vorrebbe rinunciare a Internet e cellulare.

ARMANI è presente oggi in diversi social network:
Tumblr e Pinterest.
