While Starbucks isn’t a client of ours, we think it’s a fascinating brand. On the surface, Starbucks appears to have all the components required to “future proof” its success: a massive social media following and customer base; a consistent, global coffee experience; and an in depth knowledge of its individual customers through its Starbucks Card program. Yet there are significant ways in which it could improve its online marketing.
Tom Roach, BBH London’s Head of Effectiveness, discusses the importance of difference in business, marketing and creativity, and shares some key data to help you avoid drowning in the ‘sea of sameness’.
1) Brand activation involves creating marketing interactions between consumers and brands to help consumers better understand and accept brands as part of their lives.
2) It is important to emotionally connect brands with consumers at the right time, place, and way to motivate consumer commitment.
3) Benefits of brand activation include conveying positioning, supporting ad claims, increasing brand salience, and eliciting customer insights.

Double page spreads in magazines require careful design to guide the reader's eye through the content. The most visible areas are the outer top parts of each page, so key elements like headlines and images should be placed there. Other elements like body text, pull quotes, captions and credits are arranged to flow smoothly between pages and draw the reader through the content. Proper use and sizing of these elements helps readers easily understand and engage with the story across a double page spread.

Under Armour was founded with the goal of creating an affordable, lightweight moisture-wicking t-shirt that fit tightly. With limited resources, the founders decided to allocate funds to creating an innovative product and using low-cost marketing techniques like athlete endorsements and word-of-mouth promotion. This strategy proved successful, allowing Under Armour to grow and eventually utilize more traditional marketing methods as the brand expanded.

The document provides an overview of how to write a screenplay, beginning with developing an idea, character, and storyline. It emphasizes establishing a high concept idea with an engaging logline. The hero should have clear wants and needs that relate to an internal flaw, while an adversary embodies and challenges that flaw. An effective structure follows a three-act structure with signposts like introducing the spark that flips the hero's world. The document concludes with tips on developing an outline before writing and books to consult for learning screenwriting fundamentals.

Cultural Strategy Battle School - iStrategyLabsEric Shutt
Cultural Brand Strategy is the link between creative and strategy that can elevate brands, campaigns, and creative work to achieve a culturally iconic status. These creative executions side-step conventional marketing value propositions and categorical benefits — in favor of positioning Brands to address, disrupt, and resolve specific cultural tensions in a social context. Often ‘snuck in’ by agency creatives and missing from explicit client creative direction — learn the basics of how to identify, create and execute on creative strategy in a new way.

The document discusses how the author's magazine uses, develops, and challenges conventions of real media products like INDIE and KERRANG magazines. The author's magazine uses layout elements from these magazines like mastheads and fonts. It also draws inspiration from the simple covers, images, and color schemes of INDIE magazine. However, the author develops on these conventions by using bolder colors and additional elements like sidebars. The contents page takes inspiration from KERRANG magazine's layout but challenges conventions through its simpler font and monotone image. The double page spread similarly draws from KERRANG's large images and text layout but improves clarity through better coloring and column lining.
After testing their initial polymer corner protector by leaving it outside, the team found that it had hardened and was no longer effective. To address this, they developed two solutions: selling the protectors in higher quantities so they could be replaced more often, and adjusting the ingredients to remove a cooking oil causing smells. Now the team has finalized a new product that meets all needs as a durable, odor-free corner protector.
Linked In Services training across the EUNeo Flouri
This document discusses options for creating a training program to support the rollout of Geek Squad brands and services across the EU. It considers three options for the training tool and content: locally produced, a central/local hybrid, or fully centrally created. It recommends a hybrid approach with some core modules created centrally and customized locally. A gap analysis found that existing UK content could not be directly used in other markets due to policy and regulatory differences. The document outlines a proposed accreditation process for trainers involving skills development, localization of materials, co-delivery experience, and solo delivery sign-off. Next steps identified are to create a detailed timeline, cost projections, and project plan.

smartphone e condividerla, aggiungendo una didascalia e, possibilmente, una serie di hashtag;
di “stress da social network”;
SMARTPHONE:ladiffusionediInstagramèdirettamentelegataalladiffusionedeglismartphone;

10. COME FUNZIONA
INSTAGRAM

collegati.
12. COME FUNZIONA
INSTAGRAM
Condivisione della foto
Scelto il filtro che si preferisce, nella
schermata successiva, è possibile scegliere
una didascalia, su quali social network
condividerla e se aggiungerlo o meno alla
propria Photo Map, una risorsa recente che
permette di visualizzare le proprie foto in
base alla geolocalizzazione su una mappa
geografica.
13. COME FUNZIONA
INSTAGRAM
Struttura dei post
E’ possibile aggiungere alla foto una
descrizione e fino a 30 tag (per evitare
fenomeni di spam) corrispondenti a keyword
correlate all’immagine.
I commenti possono contenere mentions,
14. COME FUNZIONA
INSTAGRAM
Commenti e Interazioni
profili privati).
Possono inoltre menzionare altri utenti
attraverso l’uso dei mentions (@)
16. COME FUNZIONA
INSTAGRAM
17. COME FUNZIONA
INSTAGRAM
agli interessi dell’utente.
Questa sezione permette inoltre di cercare
particolari tag o utenti all’interno di Instagram.
18. Sui social network, i contenuti visuali
condivisioni.
Le immagini, infatti, grazie alla loro
immediatezza, sono in grado di
veicolare emozioni e coinvolgimento
molto più dei contenuti testuali.
Inoltre le immagini rappresentano un
linguaggio universale.
Per questo motivo le aziende che
realizzano prodotti con un forte impatto
visivo hanno da subito compreso le
enormi potenzialità del photosharing
di Instagram, applicandole ad azioni
di marketing visivo, per rafforzare
la loro loyalty e creare maggior
engagement.

Agli utenti di Instagram piace mostrarsi, esprimersi e raccontarsi, e i contest risultano uno
strumento semplice e divertente per coinvolgere i follower e allo stesso tempo aumentare
utilizzandoli.

23. INSTAGRAM NELLE DINAMICHE DI MARKETING
Tecniche: UGC (User Generated Content)
Coinvolgere i follower, invitandoli a pubblicare foto inerenti la campagna, magari
accompagnate da un hashtag che la qualifichi.
Tecniche: CTA (Call To Action)

viene utilizzata per annunciare la campagna.
volta a livello mondiale.

continuare a vendere?
ConTagTheWeather, le ragazze svedesi

delle peggiori condizioni meteo su
Instagram. A ogni foto veniva associato
unpunteggio,chedavadirittoascontisui

26. Con questo contest, Lego ha chiesto ai
propri follower di costruire qualcosa
di “architettonico” con i suoi famosi
mattoncini, e di fotografare la propria
opera usando come sfondo la città, per
riempire il vuoto degli spazi urbani con
la creatività resa possibile dai Lego. Le
opere dovevano essere realizzate in
mattoncini LEGO bianchi o trasparenti,
